I'm glad to see you alive and well (at least relatively well). I think of you often, as my set of squares and rulers has pride of place in my shop (complete with kaizen foam wall frame) and there's not a day that goes by in my shop that I don't use them extensively.
They have been an essential part of building furniture for our new house and I am very fond of them and by extension their maker.

Always impressed with your work! I got a pretty good idea of what you're working with through context clues, but I for one would love a brief shop tour. Particularly for the machines you have built, but I always think it's interesting to know what limitations are on each builder, how they came to the choices they did

Surprisingly accurate considering the rubber deformation will affect the distance traveled.
Of course it is not super precision measuring tool for long distance.
