I loved Cheshire oaks when I went a few years ago, I would love to go back again but I live in Scotland so will need to come on a break to Chester again. It’s such an amazing place. Hi my lovely, Barney is such a good boy because you and Tom have trained him well and he totally adores his mummy. I have seen The Haunting of Blythe Manor and The Haunting of Hill House you are right they were a bit spooky, I have already watched Midnight Mass. Isn't' it wonderful that the Shops in Cheshire Oaks allow doggies in there stores and I hope the doggies you were talking about have found their forever home. That is a wonderful selection of Molton Brown goodies from QVC they have had a 5 easy pays on everything this weekend and I have bought all my Christmas gifts from them. I love seeing Tom cooking and that dinner looked delicious. xx

Fun candle fact, when you first light one, make sure you leave it long enough to melt right to the edges before blowing it out, it will help prevent the 'tunnelling' effect where it burns just in the middle x
Good tip but I find they never burn to edges even tea lights
Yeah it can sometimes depend on the strength of the flame/size of the wick. A guy in a candle shop, who made them for his own store, told me and I've done it ever since.
Mr Carrington had a tip for that on 'Sort your Life Out'
I saw if you get the tunnelling wrap kitchen foil around the edge so it overhangs the wax then when lit the heat will be channelled to the edge and it will level out. Once cooled remove the foil

Hi Freya and Barney, a great vlog, would love to go to Cheshire Oaks reminds me of Kildare village over here in Ireland, my Mam and I love the Moulton & Brown shower gels every since we stayed at The Mere in Knutsford for a family wedding, they had it in their guest rooms and toilet facilities, the scents are amazing 🥰

I know the feeling dealing with the damp in a basement we have converted a third of ours so far into a bar area but have the remaining two thirds to convert into a pool and snooker room and constantly are having to empty the dehumidifier. Someone also kindly cut our outside ariel so can only watch tv like yourselves. Have you managed to get hold of the asda spruce and snow candles yet...I promise you will love them.
