Attuma is going to be the main villain and it is most likely that Dr doom is the one who manipulates Attuma and can steal Wakanda's technology The Wakanda will think that it is Namor who is behind everything, leading to a fight between them...

Who would've thought that a trailer, of all things, can melt me into tears? Wakanda Forever!
As a latino, I'm so glad for this movie. We minorities have had to deal with so many tropes and things to be "better". There's this pressure to not fail. To end the tropes of missing father, ghetto living, education, and so on. But what happens when you work your whole life to do good and be right. You're a present father, a working mother, get that education, sweat blood and tears to "make it".
But then you still have a loss. Still lose a loved one. Still get a door slammed in your face. It's something my mother had to deal with, and I had to deal with when we lost my brother. She worked so hard to get us to where we are. She scrubbed toilets and washed dishes so that her kids will have a better life. And then still lost. That grief, that weight of, "what else do I have to lose?". That was perfectly capture by the queens one line. And then the world still asks for more.
It's a powerful message to all of us that are working to thrive in this world when you're knocked down badly. How do you go on?
How do you really get to feeling that "everything is gonna be alright".

In the comics there's been a lot of friction between the underwater people of Atlantis and the land people, and Wakanda sort of represents the land dwellers. Both have kings. So Wakanda lost its king, so Atlantis might be either induced or goes after Wakanda. This movie is gonna be a big step for the latino community this time too. The Atlanteans were made Aztec/Mayan per Ryan Coogler's request, and they're getting the full "representation" treatment. The actors are all actually Mexican and Natives. Namor (Aquaman is a rip off of Namor from Marvel)'s actor is actually learning some Mayan. Ryan Coogler wanted to give another under represented culture some attention too. So expect a lot of us at the opening to cheer on Wakanda Forever!

I’m so excited for Wakandan Forever. As a Mexican-American Latina, I’m happy to see the Atlanteans as Mayan. For most of Latino/ Latina, we have lost our connection to our indigenous roots due to colonization and the impact left by it. Although some still practice and maintain pre-colonial traditions and culture, the numbers are few. So to see one of our great Mesoamerican culture being represented, I’m so grateful. I hope people know we still exist; Mayans, Mexica, Inca and other tribes were a still here, even if they tried to erase our history. The visuals of movie are amazing, and the music 🤍. but it is bittersweet, saying our goodbyes to our King T’challa, he is our king forever 🖤🖤

As an Indigenous of the Americas I too am so excited that Marvel decided to cast Tenoch Huerta as Namor, and I hope that his image has the same impact on the Mexican community as Chadwick Boseman impacted not just people of African decent. But, all people!

Ive watched like over 20 reactions and as soon as everyone hears Angela Basset hit that line, people lose it and the tears start. That and the amazing score they used for this trailer. WAKANDA FOREVER!
It's Namor who borns under water and later shown as a teenager and adult, the first mutant. Also the new Black Panther is Shuri, you can see the suit in Black Panther 1.
I've watched countless reactions to this trailer and it's very few that didn't cry or get emotional. The first time I watched it I felt something building up in my chest too, 😆.

The song is everything for me. The lyric has been misunderstood by those outside of Jamaica to mean something like "if there is no woman, there is no reason to cry.”

This is one of the best trailers I've seen in a long time too and yes those are the Alantians and the song choices were on point too. But you should check out the other Comic-con trailers like Shazam and Black Adam and John Wick. But I figured it would hit you like that I was the same way Allona. Awesome reaction gorgeous.

It was an unspeakable tragedy that the world lost Chadwick, but his character is perfectly set up for its story to continue, a "mantle passed from warrior to warrior" it wasn't intentional and God is it ever sad but it's established as a legacy character already in the MCU so not only did they not need to recast T'Challa out of respect for Chadwick, they didn't need to do it from a story perspective

Narmors Headdress, probably Aztec/Maya inspired. The 1st scene, looked like the Wakanda people were making a deal with some armed people... probably the atlantians got mad..

Another cool nod to Chadwick's Black Panther's plans. Remember how Black Panther ended with him opening up an outreach center for youth in New York? Now in the sequel we see a young woman in the science department making an iron man inspired suit, to become Iron Heart. I think they're gonna make it so the outreach center T'Challa opened gave the opportunity for the genius who became Iron Heart happen.
My mom actually sat next to Angela Bassett on the plane way back in like 1998 or 99 and they talked about books lol my mom said she was very nice and obviously very pretty.
I cannot WAIT to see this movie, it looks like it'll be so amazing, definitely gotta see it in theaters. This is gonna be another $1 Billion Box Office movie.

The scene where everyone is in white is a funeral/celebration of life, The Queen and Shiri walking side while Shiri was carrying the Black Panther Helmet. The Baby with the winged feet is Namor who was the first mutant (in 1939)for Marvel. Namor is the king of Atlantis and has been Hero/Anti-Hero/Villain but he is always about his people first. Shiri took over as Black Panther in the comics but sometimes Kevin Feige likes to shift things a little and maybe it's Nakia. The girl in red/orange dapping Shiri up is in the lab RiRi Williams aka "Iron Heart", coming to Disney+ soon. She was origin Tony Starks protégé and took over in her own Iron Woman suit named "Iron Heart." So it looks like Atlantis is going to war with Wakanda. Why? What happened on that ship! I can't wait for this movie to drop.
well ive heard riri developes a device that can find vibranium,,, which dr. doom gets his hands on and with. help of traitor of one of Namors people try to get their hand on,,,, Wakanda thinks its Namors doing and so basically decieved into battle....by end they come together to defeat Dooms cronies..... my theory im hoping for pertaining to BP is that Shuri becomes black panther and realizes shes better suited as the tech genius she is,,,as Killmonger who secretly was put on ice like Bucky is brought back,,and updated on state of affairs...realizing t'challa listened to him and started helping his people around the globe and respecting him from their final conversation,,,he becomes new BP

There are rumors that doctor doom is gonna be in this movie so they can set up events for secret wars. Which makes sense cause doom has a history wakanda in the comics. Plus doom is hands down my favorite marvel villain so I'm super excited.
Fun facts Namor was created before Aquaman in the comics. He also was the first confirmed mutant in the comics in which he sort of becomes a good guy when he joins the X-Men and The Avengers.

He is their king, so of course he is leading them, but the real villain is Attuma, the actor was on sdcc. I've watched this trailer a bunch of times and the only time I get close is when I think about the lyrics and how it feels like a family consoling their children. To be honest, when I first watched this, I felt reassured and calmed. Reassured about this movie, and kind of calmed because, not to get political, it feels like a lot of things are happening now at once, and it's definitely made me feel defeatism to a point of "I'm just going to live my life wherever it goes" (but in not a good way, but a bad, hopelessness for tomorrow kind of way, not a live the joy of today kind of way). Maybe it is cheesy, but just seeing how good this trailer looks (even though I know Disney knows how to make amazing trailers), just makes me feel like this at least will still be alright despite all the troubles that it faced, and maybe we all will too.

I've only cried watching a movie trailer twice. The first Black Panther movie trailer had me crying tears of joy and anticipation. I was so happy knowing the movie was made. This trailer had me crying tears of sadness and dread. I'm not sure I am going to be able to handle seeing Wakanda Forever.
I cried too. This will be Epic.
