Making a DIY PVC Archery Release and Fidget Spinner for Traditional, Compound and Sling Bows

- Hey everyone! Here's an updated version of the PVC archery release that also doubles as a fidget spinner! This one is a little more compact than the other styles, with less extra bulk and more body where it counts. This one is good to about 50 pounds if made from PVC or something like metal (most metals harder than aluminium), tough plastic, or very dense wood.
Here's the template : / 11296845
Scale the template to the size of the bearing you are using.The material should be at least the thickness of the bearing. The thicker the release, the more draw weight it can old. This one is for a max 50 pound draw.

I have to say, for someone to be a good "diy-er" in the archery world, this guy has actually come up with something very unique, i believe if you stick to this release aid your going to come up with some awesome stuff in the future, pat on the back to you sir, i love seeing ppl buold their own tools and put them to use! I think I will give that a try. It is an easy build, even without the template. I have a very powerful recurve that I have to wear leather for because it rips the flesh off my fingers that I would like to try this with. Easier to carry then a special leather glove.

Identical to the 6-Gold ring release patented by Glen Klaurens in 1966 or so. That may have been the very first release, it seems it was replaced by smoother but much less safe designs. Then releases with moving parts were allowed and the simple ones forgotten.
Klaurens made his release in aluminium and sold it in three sizes.

this seems to be a very modern take on the thumb rings and would be much easier on the thumb and forefinger, the trigger end for the forefinger on this could be just a bit longer for leverage, very awesome idea

Why not simply use PVC cement glue to bond the pieces together
