Thanks a lot for such wonderful video. Could you kindly give me some tip on how using two sets of this product (for interview purposes) on a Sony A7 camera? I tried by using one receiver connected to the camera (which has only one p2 jack) and two transmitters with the same frequency of the receiver, but faced interference. Can you help me please?
Do you have a video on the playback being super low and quiet? Followed all your steps but having this weird issue
You make the set up simple with your clear directions and visuals that make this a no brainer. I've been using this mic system for years just swagging it regarding frequencies. Never new about the syncing. Even my audio pro wasn't aware of that nifty feature. I'll be checking out your other videos as well. Thanks for creating this tutorial.
One of best videos on the Sennheiser EW 100 G Series- nice delivery very clear and calm. THANKS
wow brother. . .just WOW. the editing, the precision, EVERYTHING so amazing in this video thank you so much!
This tutorial deserves an Oscar, very well done, thank you.
THANK YOU for this video, exactly what I needed!!! Easy to follow, straightforward and concise. Subscribed.
Bruh, I've had the G3 series for almost 2 years now and learned something new from the first 30 secs of your video lmfao I never knew it was that easy to re-sync the two by tapping them together. Appreciate you for just THAT right there. Also, it's good to see another person with G3/Zoom H6 combo. ✊🏽 i LOVE the sound it gives when i record interviews out on the field. You've just got a new sub out of me.
Glad I could help Nasty, from the looks of your content you are probably using them quite a lot.
Great thorough video! Really helpful. Usually when I view these types of videos there is something they forget to mention but not this. I’m connecting to a Tascam DR-60 Dmk II and I wasn’t seeing a single and that was because my Sennheiser wasn’t hooked up right. Now it seems to be working thanks to this set up video.
i'm studying for a final exam in my production sound class, you saved my life! fantastic explanation, thank you!
thank you so much! i have had these for years now and i have totally disregarded them. your setup has helped and i havent even tried them yet =). thank you
This has been the best instructional video I have seen in a long time. Thank you for creating this.
The first video accurately describing Pilot Tone...Thank you for that. Cheers Mate.
Thank you for this excellent video. After watching lots and lots of CZcams videos I finally decided to get a pair of AW 100 G3's used on eBay. This is a great video on how to set them up.
Wow, thanks for the straight forward clarity of your directions.
Well that was all round a solid video… no time wasting. Clear and to the point 👌
Thanks a lot for this video! I’m sitting here totally lost with these micro ports and then you came 🥳
Great tutorial! I learned stuff I never knew even after using these transceivers for many years.
Dude this was awesome! I've been frustrated for years with my G3 because I thought I was just dumb and didn't know how the settings worked. My pack came with a handheld mic transmitter, a body pack, and a camera receiver like shown here. Well, thanks to your video, I just learned that the handheld transmitter is on a different frequency range than my body pack and receiver, so it's not just that I'm an idiot, it's that there was legit only 1 frequency that both shared (516.000) and that was obviously problematic. I've already reached back out to my sennheiser rep about it. Thank you so much! Very well done video!
the frequency bandwidth struggle is real, especially for those who are working large show choir shows. You may be using all three types of packs in that situation. Glad I could help!
@@JavierMercedes For sure! Weird thing is that this is the only g3 system I have so I know they all came in the same box. I've got a g4 and an XS. But it seems they just shipped wrong.
You just saved our live stream this coming weekend. Thanks man!
Super clear! Thank you Javier!
Thank you so much for great video. I checked out this lav mic from my school and had no idea what to do with it. But now it is set up and working great thanks to this video. Keep up the awesome work. Much appreciated.
Just bought the G4 series! This was very helpful!!
OH - MY - GOODNESS... I was today years old when I was taught about the syncing of these mics. That was amazing literature. Awesome!!!

Linda Saunders thank you so much Linda!
Thank you sooo much bro. You just saved my documentary shooting. I had a long time without using these type of microphones and your tutorial is just great. Great audio, great video and great explanation. You have a new suscriber. Appreciate it man.
Thanks so much for the kinds words glad I could help Jorge!
@@JavierMercedes Thanks to you men hahaha I also watched a couple of videos keep it up with the good work. Btw, off topic: by your name I can guess you speak Spanish? Hahaha if it's the case. Muchas gracias hermano.
Really good overview of config and settings for EW100's. Much appreciated. Subscribed. Too many other sites just walkthru in a review or unboxing ... not helpful for those of us who purchased this gear but need to understand how to optimize it's performance.
Super helpful!
Very in depth and helpful tutorial. Thanks!
I have an exam on Wednesday that includes how to use this. Very helpful! TY!
Great lil walk through.. these G3 are work horses..
Thank you so much. You rescued me! I was having issues with my mic and you helped solve them!
This video was entertaining and informative. Thank you Javier!
Thank you for creating this!
Super helpful, THANK YOU. Nicely edited vid
This is quite useful. Thank you. I normally use manual to sync between them. Keep on doing what you are doing.
Glad I could help Moses. The scanning feature really cuts down on the amount of time it takes to find a clean frequency, as well as that sync feature.
for me the first tutorial to this topic I really could understand !!!! thank you so much
This is everything I ever wanted! Thx
Well presented. Thank you 😊

Thanks! U just saved my life
Thank you so much bro!
Very well done.
Excellent..., thank you.
Awesome video! Thanks man!
Appreciate the comment Lenny!
Super cool video! I keep trying to decide on a system a bit more complex but the Rode Go’s makes life soo much easier! I think it’s the Sennheiser AVX system I might go with if I need to but the Go’s have been super reliable.
I haven’t tried them but I’m sure they do an awesome since I see those all over the place
Thanks buddy!
Great video. Thx!
This video is helpful
perfect! thanks!
Thank you so so much for the vidoe
Sweet video thank you.
Awesome!!!!
“I’m just going to set it to 311, cuz that’s a band”
Hahahaha Awesome!
I'm a professional audio engineer who works with these all the time. EXCELLENT JOB!!
I shoot prank videos to the transmitter and receiver are always 15-25 meters apart... Any specific settings for long distance use? I think you covered all of it i am just curious
They have a newer version of this that I tested and you can get really far away and get great signal. Here is the video: czcams.com/video/P8W2DZUR8Ak/video.htmlsi=jrpqKEysWCJ0u97G
Thank you.
Very Nice video. I learned a few things I didn't know about my G3's, but background music is distracting (to me, anyway). Some viewers will disagree with me, but I bet if you didn't use the music at all while you're speaking, virtually nobody would mind at all. I've been producing videos professionally for over 30 years and have, at times mixed background music too loud and my clients/sample viewers have let me know to mix it down a bit.
Once again, Way Good info here. Thanks.
Who thumbs down 👎 this? This was awesome 👏!!! Thank you!
The best out there
Great video Javier. May I make a suggestion for you to add a small sticker on each device facing the camera with the words "Receiver" and "Transmitter" so we know which is the Receiver and Transmitter you are holding. I often find myself doing some rewinds back to verify that you are holding one or the other. Thanks and be safe.
"I will randomly choose 3.11, cuz it's a band..." haha
Thank you for creating this tutorial, Javier.
Thanks for sharing your expertise -Javier! Recently I read about setting the mic / line level in the transmitter by setting the sensitivity to 0 and then watching the AF light -light up as you or your subject speaks, and then adjusting sensitivity down until the AF light does not light up- does adjusting the sensitivity this way allow for a more accurate setting, usually around, say -12 to -24db?
Hey bro just dropping a comment letting you know I watched😁
I’m currently rocking the tascam
Thanks Kostas! Loving that 85mm content you put out.
@@JavierMercedes please if you are using more that one G3 Wireless microphone do you switch them all on when setting them up or do you pair one at a time and switch it off after it pair and do the next one
@@jojovizimediaproduction447 great question, The most I have used in one place was 24 receivers because it was a show choir. Leave all of them on while you are setting them up because it is the best representation of what will happen during the production.
thanks for thi tutorial
No dislikes... woow. I agree... well made
Great, thanks. C
the songs are dope!!!!
Hello Javier - Great video! I have this mic and was researching to see if I can use it with my computer for zoom ? Do you know? 🖥 (I’d like to avoid having to buy the rode go). Any leads appreciated 🙏
Thanks for making this so clear and informative. I had these mics and wasn't using them properly. At the suggestion of a friend I purchased them and he didn't explain what to do. Can I use this with my Go Pro 10 as well and if so, how would I do that?
