- Quick video showing the tools I am using and one I made for removing spiders off my clutch so I can repair them. Main reason for having to remove the spider is to race the rollers for the clutch weights. these are a wear item and need to be replaced from time to time to keep your sled shifting smooth. Bad rollers ca ruin a set of weights and even the clutch spider if not addressed soon enough.

Hey thank you for the information on the tools for removing these comet Spider's! Torque spec is crazy and I'll be using a pipe extended handle on my spider it sounds like.... but again thank you, the tools are easily made even from Comet but are necessary for removing these things without snapping off an ear!
Happy I could help!!

What kind of bolt is holding the 6 tower on. I took the Allen key plug out and I don’t know what is in there.
