Last Friday, I started to make pattern with this tutorial and immediately hand stitched a bucket hat. Now it's Sunday and I'm almost finished sewing it and I can definitely see the result but I'm really disappointed with the sizes in this tutorial. The problem is the side crown, it is quite wide, it covers my eyes with the brim. Also, the side crown is quite short for the 7cm hat crown to fit... I am currently reducing the side crown to make it 10cm (ruler) from 9cm(tape measure). However, this tutorial is really helpful and gives idea to make the pattern👍👍

The hardest part for me is that I don't understand cm and sometimes you tell inches and other times you don't 😢 I'm sure more people would be able to do this if it was in inches, is that possible, please!
Sorry for that. Sometimes I just convert cm to inches in this video. Yes it's easier to use inches but cm is more accurate.

Age is just a number mam. But if you think you are, there's a lot of alternatives like watching tutorial in any online platform mam. Learning never define by age mam as long as there's a willingness then you can. You can do it. I believe in you. I know you can find an easy way to figure it out. 😊😊😊

Looks like a very easy pattern to follow. Would have been great to understand how one gets to all the measurements. What size is this bucket hat? This would help as people have different head sizes, I for one know my head is big.. 🤕

How did you decide the length for brim and the crown? I had a hard time figuring that out.
Hi! For the crown I watch a lot of tutorials and mostly they use this crown measurement and I measure my head too then It suited well thats why I use that. For the brim I just measure the lower part of the side crown. Hope it helps. 😊😊

Hi po if i have pattern for 56cm head circumference ilan po idadagdag ko sa pattern para maachieve ko ung para sa 58 to 60cm circumference. Thanks po
2 CM for 58cm and 4 CM for 60cm. Pag ng adjust ka po sa circumference dpat mg adjust Karin po sa side crown at brim.
I tried making bucket hat using this pattern..it did'nt turn right...i still did some adjustments here and there

This hat circumference is 24 inches. Measure your head circumference maybe it's suited to you also.

I made bucket hat for my siblings and it all suited to them. But I'm still uncertain if it's perfect for everyone. But give it try because maybe it is.
