- Lost, alone and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten city.
Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by curious droids and dangerous creatures.
See the world through the eyes of a cat and interact with the environment in playful ways. Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants of this mysterious world.
Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B-12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.
Stray is developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small team from the south of France mostly made up of cats and a handful of humans.

Im glad he finished it. the ending was pretty nice. only thing that I thought was weird how none of the cats you meet at the start show up again.

@I'm effin done but it's excellently done, and one that has brisk pacing that more people will love to enjoy more. if you love your cookie cutter open world tutorialized hud-infested manifesto ubisoft games then sure go for it. but not everyone have tons of time to pour into a game, and many would choose quality over quantity anyway (also no microtransactions)

But yeah, I really love how detailed this game is, even as small as that joke with the bag stuck in the cat's head. I also really love this world setting. Post apocalyptic/dead city with lots of plants all over the place. I'm a huge sucker for that kind of setting and I'm really happy to see more and more games are using it

It feels peaceful and beautiful even though lots of living beings are dead. But yeah, I just like that because of how beautiful it is, not something that deep

So for anyone wondering, the ending with the computer I think, is B12 still alive and they’re just in the net now. And if anyone worried that the cat didn’t find his family, someone posted a calculation of how far away the cat is when the story finishes, and it’s about a 20 second walk to the right, which is exactly the direction the cat goes :)

This game came at a perfect time I'd recently beat Elden ring, beat hollow knight and played cuphead and all these hard games where going to make me crazy, then this cute wholesome game with a cute cat that you play as came around and it was just the perfect game to save me from going insane

That's part of the main story. You have to do that to progress.
i hate when games end this way. like yeah the bittersweet ending is nice but they always give you just a slight glimpse of what's happened, and thats it. all in all still a really good game

you should try half life 2. stray is just the HL2 of cat simulators (aka it's perfect). i spent 9 hours getting 100% on stray, + 1 hour afk for the sleeping achievement. some of it I was just dicking around having fun. but HL2 takes like, 16 hours for 100%, the story changes your life, and it's a good FPS feeling.

loved every minute playing this game just to see xqc speedrun thru it
i took as much time as possible in this game without forcing the 100% my story took around 4-5h and i rndm strolled around for 4 h he dnt "speedrun" the game the game sadly is this short still good tho ^^
The game is actually pretty short there's like some "side quests" you can do but it's literally just like find and give *blank* items to *blank* so you can get a cool 1 minute interaction or piece of lore. There's really nothing else to do
The people taking like 7 hours to beat the game I wish them well because they're obviously horrible at games

I completed the game in like around 5 hours, mainly collecting stuff and exploring, could've 100% it but didn't have the patience. But not impatient like this. While its true that everyone has their own style of playing games, you have to hand it to them who completes the game very quickly then uploads into CZcams with the thumbnail that he/she enjoyed the short game with titles like "Awesome game!" "Addicting gameplay" "Best game", just for the sake of views or getting likes. But if he/she really genuinely enjoys it, then good for them, which I have many reasons to doubt it, based on my experience with streamers.

I’ve already watches 2 different people play this game just today: Jacks. and Moist. I just fucking love it so far. I don’t know why. It’s a very cute game, surprisingly well done and pretty decent story! Got incredibly creepy towards the end which wasn’t what I was expecting from a game about a cat. Excited to watch x play it now. Might save this for tomorrow since it’s very late for me tho. It’s a very artistic and beautiful game too tho. Lots of good level design and it’s pretty
