DR650SE Maintenance Myths, CCT Gasket

My 2006 DR650 developed a small leak at the CCT. Which eventually developed into a severe spray when riding at speed.
Instead of a patch job of using RTV, I ordered a new Suzuki gasket which cost me less than $3.
A few DR650 myths will be addressed.
- TDC, yes or no
- Remove exhaust. ..clutch cable. ..oil lines. .?
- CCT, does it retract and lock in place?
- Is it really that difficult to remove the old gasket?

Update to the service. There has been no leaks and everything went perfectly.
