This house is massive with living room/kitchen setup that will leave you speechless! The manufacturer for this house is Kit Custom Homebuilders. The model for this home is the "Grand Manor 6013." Chance, I would LOVE to see more modular homes. I’ve spent hours online trying to find them. The trouble is that companies put mobile homes and stick home plans online instead. It’s hard to tell the difference until you bring them up and then you realize that they aren’t modular. Please tour more modular, steel homes that look just like farmhouses or barns, that have steep pitched roofs and front porches. I know they’re out there but I can’t find them. Please help me locate them!
I searched the difference between mobile and modular homes. Apparently anything manufactured before 1976 was considered a mobile home and any after are modular homes. Go figure 🤷🏼♀️
My sister in law and I used to go view mobile homes on the weekend just for something to do lol! I can’t believe how much they’ve improved since then! Absolutely beautiful homes and I’m enjoying your posts because I’m actually shopping for one. What a great way to see the country and view these homes. I’m jealous!

Nearly 50 years ago, our family of Mom, Dad and 4 kids lived in a 12 foot wide, 60 foot long "Trailer House". It was on the plains of Oklahoma. And the wind blew so strong 💪 all the time that the entire place would tilt and shake!
Today's "Manufactured Homes" are light years ahead!
In my state sections seem to be limited to 14 feet wide. But a big double wide would have been a real blessing to our family back then!

THIS HOUSE HAS A SINK BY THE DOOR BUT DOESN'T HAVE A COAT CLOSET THE WC SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE LIKE WHO DESIGNED THIS SOMEBODY WHO'S AN ACHOLIC??
SUCH A WASTE OF SPACE AND IT'S LIKE BUYING A BAG A BAG OF POTATO CHIPS AND ALL YOU GET IS A BAG FULL OF AIR.
Now granted this is a awesome house for those who take care of the elderly parents and could be redesigned especially that front door to have a secondary door for them to have a grandparent suites with their own independent entrance and a small kitchenette with a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom
And the rest of the house could be specially designed as a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home.
I asked if a buyer could change the wet bar for a coat/ shoe closet or just built in a bench that had a place where you could hang your jackets and store shoe's.

There are 2 closets down the hall by the bedrooms, one can be the coat closet.
The most AWESOME house I have EVER seen. All of the closets were unbelievable. More storage than I have EVER seen and that pantry is HUGE. More than I could ever fill. Loved the laundry room. It is perfect. The only thing this house is missing is a huge front porch and a large screened in deck on the back. It really is awesome
Need closets etc and mindset no attics so instead of having to store things in outside shed … plenty of space to store like Christmas , and other holiday things .. etc etc … also in bedrooms with the big closets means need less furniture have a lot of floor space ! Nice but my age quite please with my country cottage ..
You dont need a front porch or deck unless you are on a hillside. Just a nice paver patio with patio tables and umbrellas. Maybe add a screen tent if mosquitoes are a problem.

Not sure you need a wet bar AND all those cabinets by the dining. I would try to make the wet bar area a coat closet for the foyer.

Wow, this home is massive and has a great floor plan. I think, besides the pantry, one of my favorite things about this was the closets. Every closet, not just masters, was designed very nicely. When a closet is designed like that it eliminates the amount of furniture you have to put in the smaller rooms, giving extra space.

Unique layout!!! Love the ceilings! OMG. The pantry of my dreams!!!!!! Not fond of the cook top but I’d learn to live with it! Lol linen closet is AWSOME also in hall. All bedroom closets get A+ in my book
I have a flattop stove and hate it! It is so hard to keep clean.
@@gailrodgers3079 I have a completely flat one of these, its so streamlined with no irritating knobs sticking up. I use it as a countertop when its not used as a stove, too (very small kitchen though, 6' by 10' max so all space has to be utilised carefully).

These Idaho homes have really been impressive! Rooms are really massive as you come into the home! Love the living/dining room windows and kitchen is fantastic with the ultimate pantry! Like I said these Idaho homes are impressive!!!

I really love this model. The only thing I would change is the wine holders over at the wet bar instead of in the dining room area.

Quite possibly the perfect home for a large family or for an entertainer. The amount of storage made my jaw drop....all those closets 😍. I have an empty nest but I would love to have a home this size to just spread out in. Would probably never leave it
Great home. The only thing is to remove the wet bar and remove the island in the kitchen. Islands take up to much room.
This is my new favorite! I can see this as home. KIT Homes certainly seem to have some good quality homes. The only disappointment these days is the increase in prices due to building costs.
YAAAZZZ! Finally storage galorage in a mobile home! Those master bedroom closets are for fall & winter clothes and the other is for spring and summer clothing 🤣😂🤣. Seriously gorgeous home! And the utility room is fantastic. Talk about an "open concept" with all those beautiful windows and space.

Oh my stars...I love this house! The pantry, the size of rooms with those built in closets and that laundry room! 😍 The ONLY 2 things I would change would be no carpet, hardwood throughout & I would replace the wet bar with a bench to take off shoes with cubbies for storing shoes or whatever else like backpacks. Love the idea of the merchandise store... Great job Chance!

Just saw this video for the.... Ohhhhh... 3rd or 4th (maybe 5th time) IDK... But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this house. It's beautiful. My fiancé would say it's too big of a house for us, (he's right 🤭🤫) but I absolutely love it. I've always wanted a nice big house. All it needs is a huge covered deck that goes all the way across the kitchen to the laundry/utility room, and a gas stove instead of electric, but I'm sure that can be arranged. 😉

This is my dream home❤❤❤. Plenty of storage and space. The closets in the other bedrooms are identical to my daughter master closet in her home. Love the layout. The only thing I don't like is the stovetop in island. The colors of the cabinets, floors and bathrooms are perfect!! Love it❤ Thanks for showing this one to us forsure. Love the accent ceiling in the living room. The arches into the dining and kitchen area. Double ovens, this home has character! You can take the hidden pantry and turn it into a panic room. Just reinforce the door and frame.
This home is still my all-time favorite

The laundry room is the entire size of my whole kitchen.
My kitchen is tiny as well.
I normally don't comment on Chance's Mobile Homes but this one I have to. I Love the lay out of this one. All the extra storage closets are superb!! I would only change the Kitchen Sink to a double and just wondering for the money your paying on this home why the Air/Heating is in the floor but other than that nothing really bothers me about this home. I've seen other Chance Homes and wouldn't buy them because most of them don't have enough storage. I Love the dedicated Office up front. Specially since allot of people are running their businesses out of their homes now due to Covid-19 and the Delta Variant. If I had the money I would buy this one tomorrow!!!! Hands Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is definitely a great floor plan. The elevation is pretty too. The air/ heating is on the floor because the duct work is under the house, not in the attic like the traditional build. We've lived in a mobile home before. They generally have good to great floor plans, especially the newer ones. However, the structure and build just aren't as solid as a traditional home. They don't withstand the wear and tear over time. You'll find yourself replacing items more quickly ( unless of course, you upgrade from the very beginning. ). The walls are thin and light. You can hear most everything happening in the house. They are what they are. Someone had mentioned about having a hot water on demand installed. In some States that is not permitted in mobile homes. If you plan to do so check first.
I would take that cook top out of the island and put in a regular stove.

This is so gorgeous !!! I love the lay-out, the storage is phenominal !! I love where the kitchen is, you are not staring at the sink etc, when you walk in the front door. This makes the house so classy. I would love to know how their service is rated, that is a biggie with me, how long have they been building homes, how well they stand behind what they build, this is #1 !! I don't give a RAT"S BUTT how gorgeous a home is, if they don't stand behind it and give you a great Service and Warranty, forget it, not worth the chassie it's delivered on; (especially with a ballpark figure of $380,000), this is going to tell me everything I need to know, not to mention, they want be in business very long.

There's room for everything in this house, all the linens and coats and that pantry and laundryroom are to die for.
This is a Nice house floor plan that is Actually Functional, & can handle a table that can fit the whole family (8) & an actual kitchen (that isn't the size of a small closet) Love the pantry & the pantry 2.0. there is a few things that I would change, I showed my husband the video starting with the floor plan part & when he got to the master closets (her) he was shocked how big it was & then he saw the (his) & about had a heart attack (lol) he really liked the way the hallway split & how the floor plan made almost every sq foot functional & Useable. He really liked how the Utility room was laid out too.

Now... hear me out... THIS one would be beautiful with the huge porch from the last video! The wet bar next to the front door would have to go though or be moved closer to the dining area side. The odd angles in the home just aren't for me. I do like the 1/2 bath in the utility room and the rest of the home is pretty nice! Thank you, Chance!
I totally agree with you on these two points. Add a porch, move or delete the wet bar for a closet. Why a wet bar by the door? Do people drink that much these days? I'm not into drinking, so that is why I asked.

@@randiw9433 This is a modular home which is a lot closer to a 'real home'. Both modular and manufactured homes can become real property as long as you own the land where it is set. As the sections of the home is transported, they are 'mobile homes' but, once delivered and set up, the wheels and axle are removed and the home is affixed to the foundation,
The process to convert it to real property may be different in every state and/or county but, in Florida, you show documentation from the dealer to the property appraiser or the tax collector's office and they will convert the home to real property. You then pay property taxes and can enjoy any homestead exemptions that may be applicable. Since it's no longer a mobile home, you do not need to renew the registration(s) every year.
Manufactured and modular homes can increase in value based on the market.

I love the cooking on the island. Never been a fan of staring at a wall and cooking with my back to the room. I love the pantry. Really well thought out in the laundry..linen cupboard is a great size.

Love this one! I think this is my favorite one so far. The only thing I'd change is the floor vents. I much prefer ceiling venting. Floor vents makes furniture arrangement so tough!
