I know this was 2 yrs ago, bit, I have a theory on why catalytic converters plug up: A. Of course the usual: oil getting into the exhaust B. Lack of oxygen getting past the cylinders:. Catalytic reaction takes place because the precious metals in the substrate great to oxygen. Heat up and supposed to burn any fuel that gets past the cylinders. If the oxygen is all used in the cylinders, nothing left to react with the precious metals in the converter.
put a timming chain kit in it and the rachet like tap sound, knock sound will stop Buddy, the timming chain guides need to be replaced, since your going to have the timming cover and all the other stuff off you might want to replace the whole timming chain with a complete kit, and also the oil pump mounts right behind the timming chain you might as well replace that to since it only cost around $60 for oil pump, just saying
How are you gunna make this whole video and not even fire it up at the end?
