Hi Anne, we did have a very restful time away despite our activities! I have really got to get sewing now as looking at my current Autumn wear a lot not to my taste anymore 😂. Thanks for watching. 🍁
Oh Debbie we always enjoy our trips to the USA, it is such a diverse and varied country, we never get bored! Plus you have amazing shops 🤣. Have a good week 🍁
Great fun. One of my favorite things to do on holiday is to seek out shops to buy fabric and patterns. I just found your channel and subscribed a couple weeks ago. We have very similar tastes in big 4 patterns, and it really encourages me to share in your joy of sewing. I just bought the Burda jeans pattern based on one of your videos. Blessings…
Oh I love hearing from fans of the big four patterns as more and more people are turning to PDF patterns, I am not a fan as I like consistency and good old physical patterns that I don’t have to print myself 🤣. Good luck with the jeans pattern and I really hope you like it. I do find the instructions good but they are printed so small! I need to make another pair very shortly now the weather is getting chillier. Thanks so much for finding me 😊
Hi Robyn, I tried not to copy Jen’s throw, it was more like a dump on the floor! So many lovely fabrics it’s hard to know where to start 🤣. Hope you have a good week 🍁
Loving the mushroom print and the cotton lawn! I see alot of great projects in that haul! I have decided to go get me some of that cable kit for a “jumper” (sweater) for my trip to North Carolina. You are still cute as a button❤
Hi Trish, that mushroom print is definitely different! 🍄 I think the cable knit will be one of my first projects as it’s suddenly gone freezing here. Aww missing you gals, a week today you left me standing!! Where did that week go?! 😘😘
Oh thank you Bonnie. I thought people would get bored so kept whipping it off. What I could do is just drape one over the other next time. Thanks for watching my haul! ☺️
You are going to be busy! Those fabrics are beautiful! Jersey is my least favorite fabric to work with, but I have piles of it, it will keep me busy this winter. Take care and happy sewing!
Yes Sue I really am! 😅. I love jersey mainly because it can be a bit forgiving if the fit isn’t right plus for some reason I think it looks less ‘home made’, not sure why🤣. Good luck with your winter pile! 👚
@@socarole66 I have plans.. I am making a corduroy jumper( pinafore, I think you call it) and I have started making PJ's for Christmas. I have 11 pr to make so I decided to get them done.... Thanks for asking..🥰
@@cindy7702 11 PAIRS 😱. Wow that is a massive task! I am stressing about making two pairs of PJ bottoms 🤣. I love using cord especially as it has such an Autumn seasonal look. Hope the Pinafore goes well for you. Enjoy your Sunday 🌸
Oh thanks Izzy, I am working hard on some tops at the moment. I finished one this afternoon and as it is so cozy I haven’t taken it off since trying it on! Please stay safe, I hear a Tropical storm is hitting Canada, I know you are a fair distance away from Nova Scotia but I Imagine you will still get the tail end of it. Thinking of you all in Canada 🍁🤗
@@socarole66 The storm is still pretty far from me (and we’re having an absolutely gorgeous day here today), but we’re supposed to get the tail end of it on Monday with lots and lots of rain. I do have friends in the Eastern part of Quebec and they got slammed pretty hard. No one was hurt and their house if still standing thank goodness but yeah - pretty scary!
@@dizzyquiltsandsews oh wow, that poor coastline. Isn't it strange how the storms seem to suck clouds in from around the eye therefore as you say you had good weather today? Thank goodness you aren't affected and good luck on Monday 🤞🏼x
Love the fabrics an so happy you had fun and good visit here in USA. I have all 3 of the patterns you got I made the dress short with the key hole I love it . It’s on my instagram page.
Thank you Beverly, I did have an amazing time over there. Interested to hear you also have those patterns, I was very excited to be there in time for a famous JoAnns pattern sale! I think I have found your Instagram page and have asked to follow it, I'm very keen to see that dress 👏🏼. Have a good week 🌸
Well you have lots to keep you occupied for while! I do like that border print from Germany. I like shift dresses as well so I'm going to see if I can get a similar fabric locally.
Hello Diane, yes i certainly need to get sewing! It’s getting much colder here as well so those knits need to be made up. Looking forward to using that border print, hope I don’t mess it up 😅. Have a good week 💜
Hi Margie, we try to take one of those bags that folds up and we put it in our main cases on the way out. It comes back bulging of fabrics and gifts!! ‘Glad you enjoyed the haul. 😊
You did have a good time shopping, didn't you??? LOLOLOLOL... I love it! And you are SO right: Fabric or hobby supplies of any kind are a great souvenir! You found some lovely fabric! I love the florals. Now, I have a question for you -- do you find Butterick patterns to be more difficult than Simplicity ones? I tend to stay with Simplicity but a couple of Butterick dress patterns did catch my eye. Enjoyed the little cartoon feature at the end -- I can see you washing washing, washing for days. Have a great week-end!
Hi Deb! I do have a lot of lovely fabric now but where to start eh?! I have only done a couple of Butterick pattens and for me they have been more or less the same as the main ones. I can’t recall ever having an issue but McCalls is a different story for me! I have been washing all weekend but luckily as it’s been sunny I have been able to dry the fabrics on the line outside 👏🏻. Glad you liked my cartoon 🧺🧺🧺🧺🧺 Have a good week and looking forward to your T T ☕️🫖 x
Enjoyable. You look very rested despite packing so much into your holidays. Look forward to see the makes with those lovely fabrics🌞

Wow amazing fabrics you will be busy but they will be gorgeous makes 👍
Thank you Sandra, I'm not sure what to make up first 🤣. They are now all washed so that's a start! Have a good week 👚👗
Fabulous haul and I look forward to seeing your finished items.
Thank you, I am not sure which one to use first but it may be the cable knit as it has suddenly got colder here! Have a good week 😊
I feel very privileged I got the see this amazing haul in real life hehe 😊
