Very very impressive. Let the lock down, and the bad times, disappear like bad dreams. I will definitely place my hands on this.
I need to get one of those!
Dumb question is dumb, but how did you attach the accordion protection over the screw ...?

Many thanks 😊
Am I correct in assuming that ecause the turret shifts left and right, instead of rotating to the next tool, you are very limited in the size of the work you can do?.
The part size is dictated first and foremost by the swing over the crosslide, which is 1.875" (47.6mm). If you would like more details about the capabilities and size of materials you can use with the chucker lathe, contact us at marketing@sherline.com.
If you plan the order of operation, tool sizes and extension from holders correctly, you can turn larger parts. For example, in job I ran a while back, I set up 2 cut-off tools, one short to start and one long to finish and part off 3" parts on MY modified machine.
What Cnc program is that? doesnt look like Mach3
Metal Dawg is correct. It is LinuxCNC.
5:52 you'd better get some oil on it!
8:45 those price tools should be included. i could buy cheapest models and do my own machine lol
