The mirror trick worked because Straizo couldn't see himself in the mirror because he's a vampire which confused him.

Straizo, as all minor JoJo characters, have some crazy ass fans. When the chapters originally came out in the 80s there was a girl who wrote to Araki (the author) begging to bring straizo back with an illustration made by her of her crying at straizo's chest 💀
That letter is a famous Japanese meme since the beginning of the Internet.
She sounds just like a cartoon character.

Watching Joseph fight is so much fun- he has the same creativity and resourcefulness as Jonathan, but with a touch more deviousness that makes him so much more entertaining
One thing I did not expect when starting this series with you guys, was the crazy amount of violence. I’m here for it.
I just started rewatching this show (I started with next episode). The sound effects are ear shattering, I hadn't watched with ear buds the first time around but damn. Also I had watched part 1 and 2 in english, its been 3ish years so I've forgot a ton of the smaller stuff. Love this show though.

Do please be aware that all parts of Jojo are this greusome. It kind of mars the experience when you remove some of the shock factor with censoring, so I'm pleased to see these kinds of reactions lol.
The body horror is not something one expects in JoJo's

I'm lucky that it takes a lot to bother me (I'm a big fan of Junji Ito among other things.... and that only works on occasion)
But, other people have watched it and kinda scolded me for not warning them about how graphic it can get. OOPS LOL

ah yes its part 1 of the many street fighter inspirations. Stroheim whos partly inspired guile. guile himself has a mix of 3 characters who inspired his end result.

The math isn’t mathing, pretty sure it was the other way around. Guile was inspired by Stroheim and Polnareff unless I’ve been misinformed
@@risottopose9970 from what I recall he was originally looked more like polnareff but then they decided to flatten his top and he looked more like Stroheim but his name was taken taken by J.Guile. but he is i believe the first of many JoJo characters who would inspire many of the street fighter roster.
Technically we already saw the zoom punch back in part 1 which inspired dhalsim's ability to stretch his limbs
