We haven't really seen what tech they posses we only know that they have super advance genetics knowledge. The milky way gang has more advanced tech on display in MEA. Javik said their empire fell to the reapers because they can't adapt tactically. Bioware should really expand the Kett's lore to make them more menacing as the reapers

Gotta say just recently found the channel but considering i run a Mass Effect RPG game this content is a massive idea fountain for writing as the story takes place about 10-20 years after the end of ME3 so thanks. I appreciate all the content and ideas.

Trilogy has had 3 games to polish itself and develop the lore of the world.
Andromeda is just the first, an it does a good job of setting up the new world.
Personally I think the kett are very interesting but we didn't get enough, they take other races as a way to reproduce, its stated in the game they CANNOT reproduce normally anymore, that's why they take others. Curious as to what happened to em. At least its not a 4th game with reapers. In me3 harbinger doesn't even speak, only the reaper on rannoch says a few lines. Really? They honestly don't do anything the entire game its all Cerberus interactions. No actual reaper interaction, even the final fight on earth, harbinger just flies off and you shoot one with a heavy weapon the Cain, and easily kill a reaper which feels so lame to me.
Even sovereign on me1 was more intimidating when he shatters the windows on virmire and has an actual talk with you, the collectors were an amazing enemy that built my hype for reapers since they were being controlled by them, nope they really don't do anything, just background objects causing destruction in me3. Why 2 is so good, alone no help, 1 ship on a suicide mission against a unique and creepy enemy turning humans into smoothies.
Andromeda ticks that box for me, whilst the kett aren't as destructive as the reapers or threatening on a grand scale, they're unique, different and its refreshing, we have 2 new races with their own culture, sadly not enough on 1 though.
Kinda went on a rant but people haven't given MEA a chance, its a solid game, the trilogy isn't perfect but people listen to others and take their word as gospel or refuse to be open minded and wanna be deliberately negative.
Hopefully theyll have some type of story put into them this time.
They had so much to work with I'm ME:A and it was wasted.

The idea that the Kert is something like an "organic reaper" who harvest organic life like the reaper is awesome ! I wonder why the reapers haven't already established a cycle like in the milky way. Maybe there was a war between reaper and kert? Maybe the kert are a creation of the reaper, a kind of oragnic counterpart ? they act like them through the harvesting scheme
I still think the reason the Reaper’s harvested life was to eliminate any other race becoming aware of Milky Way races. Saving the future of that galaxy through genocide. Which is obviously not right but like Reaper logic
The Leviathans created the Reapers as a solution to the "sentient machine" problem, and likely didn't even care about outside the Milky Way. That said, I do love this theory.

Yeah I had a feeling that this would happen and I hope it does. But I think we will have galactic instability that we would deal with but by the time we get things figured out we would be dealing with the kett on the borders. The problem would be the Andromeda initiative. Are they going to die and they get the info on the milky way from the last of milky species and kill Ryder or are we going to have a mass relay between Andromeda and milky way and a last stand is there and they escape to the milky way.
Glad I'm not the only one who cares about Andromeda.
Be scary if they get hold of reaper tech.....or a Yahg

The Kett need a redesign to make them more menacing. Simple as that.

Great video. However I doubt Bioware will use Kett. General consensus at the time was Kett was a boring uninspired enemies and a poor stand in for the Collectors and Reapers.
We definitely don't have any idea of what the Kett empire truly looks like. They certainly have the potential to be a threat in the future. I just hope if BioWare goes down that route that they do a lot better job of writing dynamic, interesting and unpredictable villains within the Kett. The Archon was pretty bland and predictable for the most part.
I disagree, if the kett were to come to the milky way, they wouldn't be an entire group of hunters in the dark forest, but more akin to an invasive species.
This is a probable scenario. I hope only Bioware would make it better than in ME:A.
From that perspective I'm glad I chose Control on my last playthrough. I know that likely it won't be "canon" ending, but well... from MY ME story - my Shepard despite of his controversial moments has grown to be hero. Paragon, but who knows sometimes you have to be renegade. I believe he would order the Reapers to rebuild Relays and the Citadel etc. Help Milky Way' races rebuild their planets. Be silent observer after. Interefere in their affers only if it would end them all - like keth. Well good luck you keth bastards with Milky Way being protected by my Shepard's Reapers and their inhabitants.

The idea has merit however since we never had DLC for Mass Effect Andromeda that allowed the players as Ryder finish what they started which would mean trying to find a viable way to connect the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies it is highly unlikely that the Kett would be able to reach the Milky Way without taking another 600 to 1200 year journey and since the Archon died at Ryder's hands and even with the Primus in charge of the Kett most are still confused and trying to regroup so it will take them a long ass time to be ready to try that kind of adventure the only way I could see this game being approved by fans would be for Bioware give fans what was denied them along with the new Mass Effect game thus to prove to us that they care about their fan base
The only thing I found interesting about the kett is their letters, for the rest not even their appearance.

Love this theory im for it... Andromeda will be part of the story anyways but hopefully Shepard somehow survived or he/she somehow became an AI Shepard that was created from Shepards DNA or so

The Kett are not as powerful as you make them out to be for the milky way has more advance tech on display in the MEU.
I’m not so sure. They weren’t received well. I think they’re kinda boring. I mean… maybe they can still be redeemed… but didn’t all the greats from BioWare already leave? I’m not holding out hope for BioWare making good games in the future under EA. I’ve been asking for Microsoft or someone to buy them possibly even since before ME3, but certainly since. I think they’re basically shambling zombies now. Not even remotely the BioWare of old.
And the worst part? They weren’t even totally killed by EA. Apparently, they thought the “BioWare magic” would just make everything come together and succeed, so they kinda killed themselves, especially on Anthem. Now, there’s certainly the argument that they wouldn’t have even tried making Anthem without EA giving them the directive of like, “Make us a live-service game.” but still. From everything I’ve heard, BioWare basically killed themselves with Anthem.
And based on how bad ME’s ending and Andromeda were… I just really don’t have faith. And if they have the same lack of confidence I do? They aren’t touching the Kett again.
Considering this threat you should have taken control over the reapers rather then destryoing them!
