I have been fishing all my life for carp and pike, plus river fishing. But time is catching me up not far off my 60th and my shoulders are shot, I have already had one shoulder replaced, and it needs doing again. But my other shoulder is also bad and needs a replacement too. I tried to keep away from bait boats, but my health is now at a point where I don't spod or use a throwing stick anymore, I don't want to give up my passion so I have decided a boat is a must for me. Hi mate, sorry to hear about your shoulder problems, I also have had to stop using a throwing stick for the same reason, the boat will definitely be a benefit to you. Be lucky mate!
I did a 24hr stint on a lake last year. The weather was incredibly hot and no surface fishing was allowed. It was obvious that the carp were hiding beneath overhanging trees at the island. I couldn’t obviously get under the trees and in the end a kind guy on the lake behind saw my troubles and offered to take my rig to the spot using his bait boat 👍🏻 within 10 mins of dropping the rig I had a fish 🙄 we go to catch fish after all 👊🏻

Yep, great value, only I will still need my spod rod as a lot of lakes ban bait boats. But when allowed it will be first thing packed in the car!

Finding the croaker hole in the St. Johns River. A.k.a. big lake George in Florida would be pretty much impossible. With this, I found it easy and in and no time.

I know that the max. range is 500 M.. If I increased the remote rang to 750 M by using yogi antenna. Does the boat will will go 750M or it will returns home at 500M.? Where I can download the user manual?

How are these deepers on the bait boat? I here some people loose connection a lot and get the extenders. I want one but with extenders it’s starting to get really expensive

Hi LHC, Happy New Year to you too!. The basic battery is stated as 2.5hrs running time, the larger battery available gives 4.5 hrs, but boat has no solar panel option, needs to be charged from the mains as far as I'm aware.

At the beginning of the video you had the deeper arm screwed to the top two hole but in the water had it fixed to the bottom two what hole do you use thanks
Well spotted Dean, yes I adjusted it as when put in the water it balanced better from the bottom two.

Hi, I have not had any issues with interference with mine but only used it up to about 60 yards or so.
Is it problem to add deeper chirp + and connect to bait boat which has frequency 2.4hz? will it have any problems?

Hi mate great vid. I'm looking at getting a deeper for my actor but deeper have a warning saying it might interfere with signal of baitboat controllers. Just wondered if you had any issues like this or noticed range of boat was reduced at all?
Thanks mate, I have not experienced any issues, but I must admit that I have not used it much over 60-70 yards.

I have not encountered any issues.
All they need now is attach your bait or lure and drop it off in the spot you want

I was same I said I’d never buy a bait boat but they do have there uses on some waters even terry Hearn when he catches british record’s he will tell you what rig and bait he had it on but he won’t tell you he dropped rig with a bait boat 😂👍

Can you tell me if you find a decent area in front of you say 60-80 yards you will then manage to find the same spot again with the baited rod?
It’s definitely gd for marging work but what about open water???
Hi Paul, there is a GPS add on available which should solve the issue, alternatively I'd consider putting rig out in boat, and clipping up at the distance and measure wraps and then use horizon markers as usual. On my trip for the open water area I was using the reflection of the trees in the water as a marker as I was only doing the day.

I have used it for 48 hours using three rods and hardly touched the battery, I am hearing people say the larger battery will easily last a week session. But I would always take a spare just in case!

I know this might be a stupid question but do you have the deeper set on boat mode or onshore mode I'm just about get one for bait boat and never used one before
Not a stupid question, personally I use onshore mode, but sure there will be dome that use boat mode.

Do you find the deeper works better on the boat than casting it about, mine tends to disconnect a lot when casting about and wondering if they work better on a boat. All so what deeper do you use please. Many thanks in advance cheers.
I use a Deeper pro plus, and I think it is better on the boat simply because you can keep connection and move it where you want, also saves a lot of splashing/casting about.

@@CarpBites any issues with interference from the deeper?as I have bought this boat and the deeper chirp plus but I have seen some posts saying that it doesn't work well with the frequency of the boat controller I haven't had chance to use it yet yours looks like it works perfectly tho so I'm a bit confused by a couple of posts I have seen on a forum
@@stephenhussey522 hi Stephen, all I can say is I have not had any issues using the deeper pro plus with my boat, whether there is a problem with some boat/deeper combinations I wouldn't know.

Would it be better to use short rigs it looks like a long rig would be a problem when dropped as it wouldn’t lay nice
Hi David, I think its a matter of personal choice, personally I would not be concerned about how the rig will lay. But who knows, maybe a shorter rig may have caught.
What’s the back compartment for? In other video the guy said it’s for your rig?
Yep, you can put rig in either compartment.
Does the boat work in the river with strong currents?
I wouldnt know, to be honest I'm not sure it would handle it though.

Just a tip pal don’t rely on the fish icons on the deeper as they are not true, looking at the first swim you tested looked like there was some smaller fish there

Yes you can no problem, use the middle hopper and a sinking leader.

can the deeper fastening on the boat be loosened? or is the bracket screwed tight
The arm is attached to a velcro pad that us stuck to the rear door the velcro is very strong and the arm will not come off unless you peel it off.

Not this one, but actor do the same boat with GPS.
could you leave the bracket on the rear door while dropping your bait
I haven't tried it, it should work but may cause problems steering. Personally i wouldn't use rear door whilst the deeper is attached.

@@xruinux yes mate, its really strong and as long as the door is clean when you stick the velcro to it the arm is not going anywhere, its actually really hard to seperate the velcro!

How do you make the deeper work 100m+?
Hi, I have not used at those distances so cant answer - but I do believe you can get a wifi extender online.
Does the deeper not put pressure on the door at all please ?
No it doesn't, but I dont use the rear door whilst deeper attached, once spots found with deeper it can be removed if you then want to use rear door.

Any updates on this after 6 months of use? Have you tried it over longer distances or in choppy conditions?
Hi Phil, only used it a few times, check out my session at Islands Fishery and at Clover - Coking Farm to see it in action, not used it for extreme range or in really choppy water though, although I'd feel confident to do so.

It's offset so that when the arm is attached it comes from the centre.

So does this boat really enhance the effectiveness of the fish sonar?
It doesn't enhance it, but it does mean you can search your swim easier and faster without casting and making lots of noise.
Can I ask what level of sensitive you had the deeper set too please?

@@chucky1golf Hi Martin, the boat is easier and quicker to set up and obviously goes further out, but not allowed on all venues, so each have there place. Either will always be on the barrow from now on, depending on the venues rules!

J'ai reçu le bateau ( V18 GPS 12000M chez aliexpress) en 1 semaine. Après vérification le bateau ne va qu'a 160 mètres de distance grand maxi et par petit vent ..... au delà vous perdez le bateau même avec le pt GPS rentré (: ils disent que quand il y a perte de connexion il rentre automatiquement c'est faux, vous devez vous rapprocher du bateau au pire à 160 mètres de lui pour qu'il remarche et rentre automatiquement au pt de départ . Allez maxi 150 mètres par sécurité tout marche très bien. Les 3 pts GPS sont parfaits précision au mètre prés. La touche 4 pour le retour automatique, parfait. Les 3 petites bennes parfaites (2 sur les cotés + 1 derrière ). l'autonomie d'une batterie pleine de 12000= 10 aller/retour (100m de distance) par petit vent sur eau close. (Temps de charge complète 8 heures sur secteur) prix d'une batterie de 12000ah supplémentaire est de 20€ (en France c'est 40€ ). Vous pouvez avoir toutes les pièces de rechange sur le site chinois à bas prix ! En résumé 160€ livré. Prix/qualité on fait pas mieux sur le marché ! malgré les 8 marques que j'ai pu testé au prix les + bas....C'est un produit qui vaut le cout sans aucun doute. Les 7 pêcheurs amis qui ont ce bateau depuis 3 ans sont trés satisfait du produit.
