Thank you, Hila! Looking forward to receiving my copy in the mail. BTW, the camellias are beautiful. We often visit the Huntington Library and Gardens here in Pasadena - they are well known for their camellias, but yours look better!!! 🌺 Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for your insights and comments on wearability and styling.
I am on the lookout for a jeans pattern, so this issue Will follow me home when it is available in Sweden, where I live.

I love the jeans and plan on making the whole outfit, possibly with shorter sleeves for summer. I also plan on making the blouse with the twist/ fold 😅 I like the detail and sometimes don't want to actually tuck stuff into my pants.
I also keep wanting to mention that last year in the burda podcast (its only available in German) they announced that they will remove the curvy line from the monthly style magazine and instead will release the curvey every 2 months and extend the size. To give them more patterns and a bigger size range.
This year they announced that they won't release any best of magazines anymore but instead will include 4 till 6 in the monthly one.

I really liked this issue, my favorites are the peasant blouse dress, Chanel style jacket, the ruched front dress, and so many more! I made the wide neckline top but the facing keeps getting out so I topstitched it. Thanks for your insight on the dolman sleeve, I've never tried making one but you are convincing me...I only need more time to sew 😅

Thank you Hila especially for sharing beautiful flowers. Like you summer is SO far away in Nordics that I am excited if we can get to +5C. No chance am I making sleeveless anything.
I am full hourglass but petite so wear very different shapes than you; I and am glad to see slow return of patterns with waist seams or focus. Have marked the skirt with all the darts as something to try. I do like all the extra seams on trousers etc,.as adds visual interest. I am angry that many patterns do not include pockets - as you always say ‘pockets are everything’.

I love your Camelia but think it wouldn't like here in the Bavarian Forest up 765 m and quite cold. You are right about the "not tugging in" blouse. In 1975, when I was 20 years old, we had blouses like the one they got .... OMG I had a cargo pant which my later husband called apple plucking trouser.
For the silver chain you can just use a plain chain, long enough and hang it round the neck, making a knot in order to keep it. I got a chain like this and I use it for twin sets etc.
The coat dress to me is not interesting at all.
I didn't like those 70ties dresses than and I still don't like them.
Those jeans are the reason why I will look out for the issue. They are exactly what I#ve been looking for for quite some time.

Your Camillas are so beautiful! Thanks for letting us have a peek. I have a sister who’s named after this stuffing flower. She’s a bit stunning herself so she was aptly named. I agree with you when it comes to the integrated tucks on shirts and blouses. Not flattering for most and definitely a pressing headache!
