I don't care what I had planned, when Ren drops a new track, I'm dropping everything to make the tour of all the reaction channels.
Same!!!! I enjoy watching Ren's video first and then I make the rounds of the reactions. I watch Ren's video in between reactions to give Ren more views as well. Love this artist 🔥💜
100% 😂🤣
Me to 😂👍
Same
Ikr!!?
I think it is impressive, that Dr. Dre tempo and his rapping were different, but he manage to rap and play the guitar at the same time.
proud to be a brit... this lad is off the chain... wicked nod to Dre.. and shot in cali...👌
I seriously watched this 5 times in a row when it dropped. My fave Ren track so far for sure!
I Cannot get over how he can pick/play a different melody (Dr Dre bit!) over another melody (his song!), while Rapping so Fast too!!!
People have no idea just how difficult that is!!!
“Up in tha street, we call it murder” is Damien Marley “Welcome to Jamrock”
The “murderer” part is from “Murderer” by Barrington Levy.
and Damien got it from Ini Kamoze
@@iggatron yep, but most know Damian’s version. I didn’t want to confuse anyone. You are indeed correct though sir.
Tidbits from barrington levy's "murderer", damian marleys "welcome to jamrock" and dr.dre's "the next episode" and ini kamozes "world a music (out in the streets they call it merther)" that is a sample on welcome to jamrock in there. Filmed in Los Angeles on the 8th of August.
Fun fact: "Merther" is basically the term for listening to reggae while smoking weed. The "merging" of it.
Just loved it very much. Oh and also: There is a version of "murderer" from barrington levy featuring none other than rakim himself.
Very dope track imo.
You should keep on adding this to the reaction channels so that people can show their love to Barrington, Damien et al. It gives you a good insight to the many influences that Ren has, ... and all of them are class!
@@rovcanada1 Well that is EXACTLY what I am doing since the song came out. :D
@@Hexenkind1I like you are spreading the fan fact you saw in BP comment section, it was mine😂
Lots of good info there! Thanks!
idk who you are but man i appreciate you ☺
People can say what they want, Ren brings a vibe to everything he touches. I have been enjoying his straight hip hop tracks but I can’t wait for his new album that will balance singing with the rapping more. His singing voice is so soulful.
I HAVE SAID MANY TIMES...! REN SAVES MY SOUL.
Only Dotta and Michelle don´t like him. lol
@@kingofshit303 I think you might have missed the end of the KD/ren “beef”. Dotta are ren are cool, and Dotta has posted about ren, supporting him, many times since that all went down. Ren shared KDs gofundme to his instagram. Even Michelle show posted on IG stories with respect when ren got his #1 album. (Ren shared to his story). Even people that have said they don’t like his music seem to like him lol
Next Episode by Dre was the song he took the riff from
nice that you went to this version too > Ren is always a must see .
“Welcome to Jamrock” by Damien Marley is where the “out in the streets they call it murder” line comes from. “Here Comes the Hotstepper” is the song Ren references in the first verse, and it is sung by Ini Kamoze. And the guitar melody y’all were trying to pick up is “The Next Episode” by Dr. Dre
It's actually BARRINGTON LEVY who's the og writer of the reggae track "Murderer" which is sampled by/inspirational to so many artists.
Ren is evidence that you don't need special marketing, simple old school word of mouth has got him to where he is now. Sheer talent and skill is all that did it. The fact that he didn't take down reactors videos because they used his music is the main reason he is where he is today. He didn't let greed poison his soul and now he may reap what he has sown.
Loved this reaction 🔥💜 Ren is really murdering this game hehee. Loving his music 😍
Zackly... he's literally changing the game single handedly! For the Better!
(Haters: What... confused... see his dis response!) 😏😎
This is dope, he thrives in performance imo. I like the original better but I love the creativeness of this.
I see love in her eyes !! He's sooo good, I'm a guy and iv got love in my eyes too 😂😂 amazing version
The sample Dr Dre used was from The Edge, a modern classical piece written and orchestrated by David "Ducky Mallard" McCallum.
New entry in the 2023 Webster Dictionary:
Definition of a true artist (with a capital A): Someone like Ren Gill.
Don't you agree?!
Fantastic reactions to Ren's work. Good job
Ren has talent and musicality from head to toe and all the way out to the tips of his fingers. I think I love this version even more with all the little scatting bits and the added/changed melodies. Just brilliant. The GOAT in the rabbit hole kills it again.
This is greatness❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Ren is my GOAT..THANKS GUYS.
It was "next episode" by Dr Dre
He controls his Vocals like Sizzla
Whoa! Wowow. I am really impressed how he transformed this song
The words at the begining is They call it Merther, a reference listening to reggae while smoking a nice green health tobacco!!!!!
World a music .....Ini Kamoze, wicked album from 1983.
Not sure if you’ve reacted to the live version of Genesis yet but if you haven’t I think you definitely should. Completely different vibe to the studio version.
I think there needs too be a RENCOM ..Since its hard for him too travel and keep up with his health . We should all go to Him
I don’t know, but at the beginning of that solo, I recognize that before he goes into the Dr. Dre can’t think of it gotta help me
Next week on thursday he will release love music part 4.
How different. New to me and has me ready to check him further. Thanks Flawd
Intro, Damian Marley 'Welcome to Jamrock'........Dre tune ' The next episode'
That was incredible ❤
Na na nana na, its the one and only D O double G
When you guys said "theres another one.....murda..." klashnekoff - murda
A uk legend right there!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great reation!! There was just an incredible version.
The added guitarist to this live gives this live a new depth. Ren always gives his live versions give the track a subtly different feel. Love it. 2 ways to enjoy one song. This is to me the late night version.😊
Loved to see the pleasure on your faces as you listened to this
I so wanna hold a party where we play just Ren tunes and just dance 🕺🕺🕺
So many eggs, call Ren the Easter Bunny
Damien Marley🔥
The Next Episode🔥
Best thing to happen to music in YEARS
I was thinking or heard it was a tribute to being in LA filming this !! I think ???
I heard he was paying homage to LA because that's where he recorded this. The biach, the Dre and murderer. Maybe more that I didn't catch
It was filmed in LA, maybe he wanted to honor Dre while playing there.
Ren brings hope for today's music.
When he does these acoustic style it's totally sublime feels!!!
This was awesome! ❤❤❤❤
Loving this version so much. Great reaction.

You know I'm mobbin' with the D.R.E.
❤❤ love all his acoustic covers of his own music.
Either way amazing
HOLD UP................................................................................................................................................SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY
Awesome performance !! Great reaction!!
"Next episode", is the Dré track, FYI
And the beginning was "Welcome to JamRock", Damian Marley
I'm 99.9% sure...
He's used to BUSKING on the streets and doing Mash-up's..
That's his LANE FS
I’ve been trying to figure out why I gravitate towards reaction videos these days, even though on paper I feel like there are a lot of channels just trying to capitalize off someone else’s art. I do, however, think there’s something special about seeing someone else react to something that had an impact on me in a big way. It’s a strange, interconnected new world, and we’re all searching for ways to reach out and connect with each other. I really enjoyed this reaction video ❤
Confirmation- it's essential to 'community'
Barrington Levy did this song as well
please please listen to his song called fire it is as titled complete 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥
That beat when you stopped it was Dre I'm pretty sure. With snoop, The Next Episode
This is good my boi I was spraying some bars off the top with that classroom flow while vibing

I think he was a homage to dr dre since he was performing in los angeles.
def. love that nod. so simple so powerful
Great react guys

Great reaction, and new music on Thursday...Love Music pt 4 ! 😊
THE NEXT EPISODE..DRE
🔥🔥❤️
This shows just how good Ren is to turn a amazing song and flip it in to another amazing performance….WTF
🔥✌️
Loveit
Great reaction as usual. I recently learned that Murderer was actually written and recorded well before “Hi Ren.” Marty DeHart (@Parula06) explained that the original video was shot in Brighton in the Spring of 2022.
The new live acoustic version of “Murderer” is incredible and my favorite of the two. The LA skyline at dusk is beautiful. Marty DeHart (@Parula06) shared that the live acoustic performance was shot in LA a couple of days before its release. The song, apart from the original melody and lyrics, also gives a nod to Damian Marley, Dr. Dre, Barrington Levy, and Sublime, yet, the song is unmistakably a Ren original.
Black Pegasus (@BlackPegasusRaps) pointed out that the verse “Out in the streets they call it murder” is originally from an Ini Kamoze song, “World A Music,” released in 1983. The line became famous when Damian Marley sang it on “Welcome to Jamrock.”
This version is the dog's!!!
Kick ass
its the Dre 😂❤
Fucking love you two! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Its Barrington Levy
you got it dre chronic 2001 ...think he filmed this in LA so definately fit..barrngton levy did murderer reggae track with scatting that damian marley played off of lots of have coverd it but damian put a spin on it.🤙
The dre tune you guys were humming was the next episode...instantly picked it up when you guys repeated it... But this is probably the 50th time someones told u already. Lol... Rinse & repeat! Lol

Next Episode….. by Dre and Snoop
hey you guys going to do love music 1 2 3 before the 4th one comes out?
Next episode: Dr. Dre
That's what y'all are thinking about
Dr Dre The next episode ❤
Nobody gets the Too Short Biaach
It’s almost weird to hear a live performance, raw, and the artist sounds EXACTLY the same as on the recorded version these days, with everyone getting auto tuned or tone corrected it just plain totally re-engineered in post. But that’s Ren, what a voice
you guys check out his new rap rap?
😁🇫🇮💙🪄🎼✨💯🤘
Next episode dr dre
It's weird that Americans don't know Dre beats
It's weird that you think Americans are a monolith.
