You can pick the hour if you are picking up as opposed to delivery. The major grocer in Chicago - Jewel, allows you to pick the hour.

In America it is well known that if you were born to see the beginning of the internet you were the last generation to actually have had a childhood. After the internet became high speed, all childhoods perished forever.

Great video as usual, I've been watching your reaction vids longer than anyones. I can't figure out why your numbers aren't going up. Come on people, SUBSCRIBE.

the old internet days when you would ask every random person you were talking to "a/s/l?" and it wasn't creepy, until it was.

California has a cookie law also and we get the same pop-up. I usually pick "essential cookies only".
I now want to open an ASDA account just to become a "Lord" the easiest, cheapest way.
Back in the day, I had a second phone line installed just for my dial up internet. I still find it nostalgic watching the movie "Wargames" wherein Mathew Broderick is asked "Do you want to play a game" over dial-up internet and he answers, "How about Global Nuclear War" with predictable consequences.

In a previous video, Laurence had said that queue isn't used in the US. Except that it is. It's used a lot online, especially online games.

Perhaps that is because online games draw internationally diverse players?

      @aura81295 A good guess. I don't know.

It will depend on where you are in America for connection speed too. For me, where I live is horrible in the spring for them. Things were annoying when you really wanted to watch a video on CZcams.

To make a more even comparisson, he needed to puchase from Walmart. Target is a slightly better store.

Lawrence almost almost always exaggerates to his favor. You can't compare Asda to Target. Asda is a low cost store while Target is not. He should have compared it to Walmart. But, the reason he didn't is because he wanted the outcome to favor the UK. Sooo, b careful of what Lawrence says or does when it comes to comparisons.....hr doesn't always tell you the truth.

He is misguided (and, in turn, offering misinformation) about the United States' federal government's approach to Internet privacy.
There is no single law/policy which governs interactions among ALL fifty states, yet there are several federal laws which govern the
collection of data for medical information, such as HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, established as
early as 1996, which offers very strict protections for medical privacy), as well as consumer "sunshine" laws which protect Internet
users from predatory and deceptive practices and so forth. I can not log into a new site without being presented with the standard
pop-up that asks you to accept/reject cookies - or manage cookies. It's everywhere (as, shockingly as it may seem to your average
European, and, yes, the U.K. is part of Europe, despite their break-up with the E.U., individuals/consumers/Internet users are given the
chance to decide for themselves how, when, why their data is used.) The U.S. federal government publishes content on Internet literacy
and how to navigate and manage those evil cookies. (Link at closing.) Also, his backhanded swipe about 'freedom' conundrum is quite laughable
given that the U.K. government consistently censors, even blocks, websites, often in the name of journalistic integrity or to supposedly combat
the proliferation of mis-/disinformation. (Link at closing.) They could start with any number of these reaction channels . . . Hardee-har.
And, yes, ASDA is owned by the Wal-Mart Corp. And, again, he is being completely (and I suspect deliberately) misleading about delivery times,
as well as cost, he is comparing a discount-retailer like Wal-Mart, sorry, ASDA, to a slightly more retailer like Target. Compare like to like.
That would be more accurate. When I order delivery from Wal-Mart, which is every week, I am always provided time-slot on the top of the hour:
8am, 9am.....12pm. He is, simply, wrong. (But never let the facts get in the way of your self-serving snark.) The quite facile reason why English is
often represented globally by an American icon, such as the stars & stripes, is INFLUENCE. Of the top 50 Internet companies that serve globally,
not a one is British. (And that's not going to change anytime soon.) The reality is that the United States offers a much more open, varied and
freer, much less regulated Internet experience than that of the U.K., and Europe, generally. Never mind the silliness of spellings and pronunciations.
The Inter net simply WORKS better in the States.

targets prices are barely different when it comes to brand name foods (6.68 target, 6.48 walmart. thats 38.88 for 6), also how does it make UK look better?
