Sean Connery In Never Say Never Again - The 'Final' Trailer

For Bond fans old enough to remember, 1983 was an exciting year for James Bond. It would be the year of 'The Battle of The Bonds' with Sean Connery returning - again - to the role of James Bond. The unofficial Never Say Never Again would go up against the official Bond film Octopussy, starring Roger Moore. The press loved to play up this 007 competition, while Connery and Moore didn't seem to care about it in the slightest.
Inspired by The 'Final' No Time To Die U.S. trailer, which plays up the conclusion to Daniel Craig's 007 story, I felt like going back and revisiting the real life journey that Connery had as James Bond and all the tension, drama and issues that surrounded what was billed as his triumphant return of playing 007' in Never Say Never Again and what would be the last 'Sean Connery Bond film'.

Sean Connery was the ultimate Bond, his entrance into a room and saying his iconic name is still the best of the bunch. (Shout out to Roger Moore who did a superb job as well)

Two big egos Cubby & Sean! Love them both for giving us years of inspired action. Money shall always cause differences, because no one ever has the same. But if our species is to survive, these films shall be remembered during the wasteful era where we were obsessed with war, sex, vanity, wealth, power & criminality - which produced some of the best art in living memory.
I do think however that only Dr No & FRWL are good Connery Bond films. Goldfinger made it a spoof which dogged the series from then on out. Until you get to them making Sean look like Spock in YOLT!

What does Never Say Never Again even mean?
It's what Connery's wife told him after he accepted the role in the film I think.

The title was (allegedly) based on a conversation between Sir Sean Connery and his wife. After Diamonds Are Forever (1971), he told her he'd never play James Bond again, there he was, playing James Bond again. Her response was for him to "never say never again".
