Rory says he’s a Chelsea fan but I genuinely get the impression he’d rather selfishly see Chelsea fall apart for his personal benefit so he can create more clickbait content bashing Poch. Because he appears to have totally lost sight of the fact Chelsea finished 12th last season on only 44 points. They already have 60 points with a match remaining and could finish as high as 5th. Not to mention Chelsea literally have the youngest squad in the entire league. For someone who says he’s a fan he does not give off true fan vibes. He comes across as a contrarian.

Totally. He is consistently horrendously wrong about most things Chelsea and yet, continues to yap like he knows what he's talking about. Never seen anyone be so confidently wrong all the time in his opinions and takes and still never come to terms with how wrong he actually was. The level of ego is impressive actually. But I guess that unjustified confiedence and ego has taken him this far to a position as an on-air personality on TalkSport, so fair play.

I find it wild that people turn to Rory as a mouthpiece for the Chelsea fans. He's so hyperbolic and often flatout wrong. Of course Poch doesn't hate Chelsea. That's ridiculous. Poch even said this season that he can feel a relationship building with the fans in the stands.

Anyone who hates Poch because of the Spurs connection, just needs to get over themselves. There are many managers, with bigger reputations, who would not have had the balls to take on such a project, for fear of their own reputations being damaged. Poch did and yes, it’s taken time to show some fruit, but it’s beginning to show. Wonder if Rory has the courage to acknowledge when he’s wrong? That takes real courage….

No way is Poch in the same bracket as Rafa!! To the match going fans they are largely indifferent to Poch. The hate for Rafa was intense, there was literally nothing he could have done to win over the fans. Rory is completely removed from the feeling amongst the fanbase.
Why oh why are we even entertaining the idea of changing manager again? Rory's hatred of Poch is rusted-on. He'll never get over stuff that happened nearly 10 years ago.
