- 2006 Fightin' Texas Aggie Band half-time - Texas A&M @ OU football game featuring "March Invictus," the Aggie Band's own rendition of "The Patton Theme," and "God Bless America." I had heard the Sooners love the Aggie Band. They certainly proved that during this patriotic show...

by the way............"we" ( vandy fans and SEC fans ) are thrilled to have texas A&M in the SEC..............class class class and the tradition..........wow......what a football stadium.........what fans.....and...........they have a beautiful baseball stadium and great baseball program..........welcome aggies !
The Aggie Band is amazing to watch; always has been and always will be.
vandy guy here......grew up in houston in the 50s and 60s on the RICE campus, saw at least 10 RICE---A&M football games.......ALWAYS 72,000 and sold out thank you very much.......HOUSTON and TEXAS in general LOVED A&M......RICE and A&M were usually BOTH very good.....great great football games BUT.......half the crowd came each yr just to see A&Ms marching band........it was incredable then, its incredable now ! most bands are for " fruits " but NOT the TEXAS A&M MARCHING BAND.. SALUTE !
Forget football. I'm so happy they are in the SEC. I finally get to see them in person. I can't wait until they come to Gainesville and Knoxville. Great pick for the SEC. It made it a lot tougher but who cares when you have a talented marching band like this. This truly arguably one of the NCAA's top bands. I enjoy watching and listening to them every year. Go Gators.
Here's hoping the SEC crowds will appreciate the 'Pulse of the Spirit of Aggieland' as the Soonders did watching them march on Owen Field. Explains why the stands are always full when the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band performs...
Gig 'Em
I like the old Drills!
A&M didn't play in Norman in 2006. I think this might be 2011
OU showing some hospitality there.
OU is always classy. (Unlike that team from Austin)
