Yes Mark wrote it for his Daughter.
Interestingly Mark has released an album of Sinatra covers recently which is amazing, and all the proceeds go to The National Downs Syndrome Society.

If you want to see something that will amaze you check out Tremonti Sings Sinatra, I've Got You Under My Skin video. He goes from a song like this to singing like Frank Sinatra. The man's talent knows no bounds, Creed then Alter Bridge, Tremonti and his Sinatra project. As a matter of fact he is releasing a holiday album of classic songs on October 27th and expected Tremonti album next year. Just food for thought. Also check out the song off of Marching In Time called If Not For You, a great banger of a song.
