- Semi takes out light pole - destroys rear axle. Welcome back to another full on recovery job, and while not a rollover, it sure was a handful. For starters, the trailer was exiting a non-truck route and cut the corner too sharp, getting caught up on the barrier and destroying the axle in the process. A power pole was knocked down, which was cleared by the time I arrived in Hulk, my 50ton rotator.
On scene already was my father in Dave's rotator, and Alex in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. Right away, we knew the container had to come off the chassis so a Landoll was brought in, then another Landoll to transport the damaged chassis. Not a hard job per se, just a lot of labor made easy by everyone pitching in and pulling their weight.
Once we got everything loaded and the roadway cleared, we took it to our yard first before being called back by the customer to deliver it locally. I had to cut the footage short there since they didn't allow us filming inside, but at least the video is long enough to show you everything up until then.

Your father looks like a man that truly loves his work
Like father like son!!
Like a well-oiled machine. Your dad is like the coolest cat on the block.
Seeing the boss under that container was the most impressive part of this video. 👍
My words exactly.
Dave's truck is SICK! No shade at all to Hulk and Big Flipper. These trucks are effin BEASTS!
For close to $1,000,000 they better be lol
This one was definitely more than "2 inches" out 🤣🤣🤣
Wow. The comradery here is fantastic. What a great place to work. No caste system here. As always, great work, great video and thanks.
Pepe’s towing needs to have a chassis for this 1/100 case, that trailer is sticking out a lot
And the strength of the container must be very good to hold that weight too.
That driver really didn't care. He full sent it into that. 🤦 Pops looked happy to be there with y'all.
What you do is only part of the equation for enjoying your job. Who you do it with is just as important. One of the enjoyable things to watch is how the Pepe's crew interacts. Too few people are lucky enough to enjoy both the what and who aspect of their jobs.
Absolutely!!😊
Pepe's does so much container work, you would think they would have container trailers they could just roll up to the scene and drop the container right on and drive away. Assuming of course the container isn't damaged at the locking points.
And the Landolls could have container attachment brackets in the deck.
swing wide your pulling a freaking trailer 😂
I guess the towing business has been berry berry good to you folks. Bentley?? Ok, now I’m impressed …😁😵💫👍
I’ve watched some others try to do what fellows do, they are no where near as smooth and good as you guys.
Nice drone work. Those trucks looks so good, this is better than watching a movie.
All my favourite Pepe’s people were working on this job. Great work guys! 😊 🇨🇦
Holly crap, I can’t believe the overhang of the container, that’s crazy.
Given the number of errant containers you guys deal with I'm a little surprised you don't have your own container chassis. Are the 53' ones sufficiently rare that the Landoll covers all your bases? Because that was a lot of overhang and I imagine you wouldn't want to go too far like that.
I think one of the things I love the most about this channel is that you guys can actually admire your work and shredder, admire your work and that makes it special means you are well taught you know what you’re doing I mean it’s excellent to hear all this positiveinteraction with each other and what you’ve done and how you do your work so proud of you guys. I live in Canada and I’m watching you every day 71 year old woman and I’m still kicking girl.
Really drives home the roll that Cali plays in our economy! As always what a team effort. The monthly checks that your dad must write to maintain you family business has me eating Tums like candy! Impressive operation!
Might be time for you guys to invest in a chassis for occasion’s like this. That’s a lot of overhang.
Words you dont want to hear a tow truck driver say. Go:
"This tow might be $10k" 😂
Nothing but admiration for Alex, Josh and Pop!
Hey Josh, UK here, that Aston is a top end supercar! It knocks spots off the Italian cars. Congratulations.
Freaking awesome seeing all four of you working together. Joe has been hiding out!
The whole frame ripped apart. Well done.
Oh and, Josh you deserve that Aston Martin😁
LOVE it when the Boss shows up!! The team chatter was the best part of the video!! Be safe out there!!
Watching Josh and Alex move both of their booms in perfect synchronicity was a thing of beauty!
Fantastic people with great equipment proves that teamwork makes the dream work. And your dad rolling up like a boss!
Outstanding job, as usual.
Watching you and your dad makes me miss my dad we worked together in his wrecker business in the late 70s enjoy these times with him
I just noticed.... Hulk needs to have his Bailey's slings and chains in green to match...
Looks like another 'All Nighter" for the Pepe's crew........ Way of life in towing....
Looks like they need to put in some beefier guardrails in that intersection. Awesome job guys, as usual.
I don't understand how these trucking companies stay in business with cost of insurance
The really big shippers self-insure
@@jsh6952That makes it worse if they have a lot of incidents.
Go look at the prices of ANYTHING
@@bobh6728 If you're big enough that this sort of thing is a weekly occurrence rather than a once every X years disaster it becomes cheaper to eat the losses directly by self insuring instead of paying the insurance company enough to cover all the accidents and a profit margin. At most you might have an umbrella policy that kicks in at a really high level for if instead of a truck just rolling over the wreck takes out a bus full of people or destroys a large building and the cost of the truck and cargo become a rounding error in the liability.
Old dogs rule. Young pups dreull. Good job pops 👏
Those axels on that trailer looked pretty new too haha😂
You guys have really nice equipment. Must be a treat to drive.
Let’s start with the fact that his KPRA wasn’t even right. There’s a reason why it’s 40-feet in California.
your cameras are great your placement is great. we can see the action from every direction!
Dads are the best for sure!
Dad was getting it 😂
Great teamwork!!! Like a well oiled machine!!
Massively expensive recovery! Loved the video❣️👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow man O man O man I was so very happy to see papi chulo JOE ❤️ show more of PAPI Joe❤
Back at it again with a prestine video!
I love your DaD no time wasting whit him and practical 😊
You guys do alot of containers. Wow. There seems to be many of those port drivers that cant drive for sure. Great job again guys.
Nice car, bro.. hard work pays off. 🔥
Another great INE Josh Alex'JoJo'towing it to Mission,CA Storage Yard
Everything turned out amazing on the recording 👍💪💪💯
So lucky to work with good people.
With that landall by or make a stand for the back end for two reasons one you have a step deck so you guys can put those 53 feet boxes you can move them on to the deck and on the stand to be able to have less overhang, two can use it for other long things . I'm not sure if it would be too tall if you do what I suggested. All of you guys keep up the great job 😊👍
dangggg not even close to making that corner🤣🤣
Nice Peterbilt
Josh your dad kicks ass as a worker.
Nice work Pepe's!!!!
Growing in subscribers everyday…
Almost there…
This week for sure!!!
Stand to attention!! Dad's in charge! 😂👍
Wow! Fantastic job you guys did with that. I love some of the camera angles, especially the drone footage! This fantastic😀😀

You do have some awesome equipment.
Pay attention to the signs driver and you won't tear up the equipment you are using' Another trailer bites the dust.
"Thank you Joshua". Now that's a family!
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Ok, let's all stop for a moment and just say that's a baller car, my dude. NICE CHOICE!!! 👌 😊 all black, mmmmhmmm, and that 24 pete looking good to I'll take both you can just drop ship that package to Florida please 😂 great job guys keep up the good work 👏
Good work, back in the day I used to take that State St. Exit as a shortcut to jump on the 5 fwy North. They eventually posted it NO TRUCKS.
You did it 100k subscribers! Congratulations !!! 🎈🎊🍾 Love the channel 😊
Swing wide it's a friggin trailer lol
Swing wide it's a freckling trailer!
You guys ever think about adding a couple of chassis to your fleet? For times like this.
Hey hey there's my papi chulo JOE ❤️ it's a bout time you have papi chulo JOE ❤️ I'm in Awwwwew
Seeing a riveted container is WILD. Can only get away with that in domestic intermodal - and even then all the 53' containers I've seen were welded.
The turn wasn't the problem...it was the sudden stop. 😂
Buenas tardes, un gran video, un trabajo excelente, que buen equipo formais, da gusto veros de buen royo, ❤🖐️💪👍👏🇪🇦.JESUS.
Good to see your dad.
Just guessing the landoll is safer you don't know how the load might shift in transport.
This might be the real reason they don't use them.
5:48 How many tow truck drivers does it take to use a ladder? Let's find out. lol In all seriousness, it looks like a neat ladder. ^-^
Great job men..
Beautiful Peterbilt
Nice car too. lol. Absolutely beautiful brother. Good for you. Toys are important. 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
SWEET RIDE ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH !!!!!
Congratulations on making 100k subscribers!
Smooth as glass. May want to invest in a container trailer. lol
Awesome video
Outstanding video! Very clear.
Oh what a beautiful car, love to see some British excellence across the pond 😅
I don’t care what nobody says that profession is like no other (3) different profession in one 1)truck driver
2)crane operator
3)mechanic
from what I can see…
Awesome teamwork guys.
Another great video Joshua ❤
And that was a brand new chassis too
All the big guns were out on this one. Nice work. Yeah, BNSF is pretty protective of their yards. No funny business allowed.
As always job well done 👍✅
Nice job!
did homeboy really exit on State st…fawk 😬
Yes 😂😂😂 you'd be surprised how often this happens
@@PepesTowingService dam that’s crazy 😅. was his destination the latc off mission??
Nice ride
Wow you're dad can really drive a truck Josh
Nice recovery! Talk about being in Pepe's backyard. You probably could have flown the drone to the tard for a recharge.
