Useful information:
Since Boothill has low HP due to the fact that he doesn't carry a light cone, I decided Landau's Choice for Aventurine and also not be in the middle of two characters, but in one of the corners.
This is the MoC buff in this video:
After every attack launched by an ally, applies 1 stack of Memory Imprint to all allies. Allies in the Memory Imprint state deal 5% more DMG. This effect stacks up to 6 time(s). When Memory Imprint reaches max stacks, immediately regenerate 25% Energy for all allies. The Energy regenerated by this effect can exceed the target's Max Energy. Remove all Memory Imprints from all allies at the start of every wave or Cycle.

Luka might be better than Silverwolf here since he's physical too, can deal a lot of toughness dmg and can also proc the break bleed

Silver Wolf is not a bad option either. For Silver Wolf to have so little value, the mechanics of the game must be changed drastically. She's simply a flexible unit.
Plus, Boothill's implant does not reduce 20% element res liks Silver Wolf does.
I find it kind of hilarious that his break damage scaling is so high that he doesn't even need a LC to push out these numbers, though his personal is a pretty substantial gain still between the passive break effect, defense penetration, and the speed bonus allowing him to easily trigger the break effect two piece for even more stats.
No fireflies were hurt during the making of this video.

Yeah, some are clearly traumatized from the crazy Firefly "fans" doom posting about Boothill. Now they're the ones hating. The cycle of hate continues 😔
In genshin there is never a clear gauge of who is strongest since there is a million different factors that can affect that (except some clear outliers like Neuvi for example).
Here we have total damage which can be misleading (looking at you Acheron) but can give a sense of the character’s strength. We also have cycles to gauge that. My point is genshin would also be at each other’s throats if there was a clearer gauge of many of the DPS unit’s strength.
Also tbf the leaks subreddit when the first FF kit leak popped up (which had no gameplay and just text ofc) many in the comments started clowning on Boothill because they though he was getting powercrept the next banner and that he was a “throwaway” character (that is a quote btw). I HATE this toxicity of course but my point is I can sort of understand why some Boothill fans are offended.

@@shremp69Damage bonus doesn't affect break damage. The other way to boost the damage is vulnerability increase.

@@-XeLo- No. Damage boosts do not benefit break. He has weak attack so you could use the sushang one for dmg% and run an atk orb, but his damage is heavily break oriented, especially with HMC (where his non-break damage seems pretty much irrelevant). So, your best bet (outside of his signature ofc) is either a stat stick, or even just the 3* one that gives speed on kill.
If u guys have a reliable shielder, the best 4 star lc for boothill is river flows(yanqing 4 star lc)

Super break is based on character level, break effect and the amount of weakness damage the attack does, it doesn't crit.
Plus that BOOTHILL is a HUNT character which specializes in SINGLE TARGET DAMAGE, the thing is when enemy is broken his attack scales with enemy's maximum toughness bar
The bigger weakness bar the stronger the damage so yeah he's a beast against bosses

does he though? If the enemy is never moving they are not doing any damage to him. And with the amount of break he is able to dish out, chances are that his duel target is weakness broken (or dead) before they get a chance to even get a turn and do any damage to him.
he scales only BE and spd and he has taunt when using skill so using def/hp is actually good to make him tanky in a sustainless comp. Atk/phys/crit barely gives dmg so its not that much of a loss
