This was my poorly motor and O'Rileys did an awesome job. Highly recommended! Jimmy certainly knows his stuff which is why I took it to him instead of a Ranger Rover main dealer who would have charged me a fortune. Good to know I have one of the better Evoque models. Up until now, she hasn't missed a beat and glad that we're back up and running again. Great work - Thanks O'Rileys!

Always amazes me how well you can film and work on the vehicle at the same time, if it were me I’d be burning myself on the dpf / exhaust 😂 good job as always.

I think it's due to the cost of that Launch eurotab at £6k Simon....an arm and a leg ! 😆. Just being silly , yep, I know, amazes me too, I can barely do my job with both hands free let alone film it and do a great job !!

Thank you for these videos, I fixed my L494 after watching your videos. It’s very interesting and incredible knowledge you share here. Mine also had a pressure sensor fault and ended up with after market sensor like this one. Although my pressure is 100kpa which is compare to this so too high but different engine I suppose and I used autel. Once again thank you!

I thought that engine was used until the ‘ Ingenium ‘ engine came along ?
Correct. This will be the Peugeot 2.2 HDi engine in these, so no wonder the DPF were fine. Not sure if the ingenium replaced it before the second generation Evoque came out though.
@@khalidacosta7133the Evoque & disco sport were fitted with the 2.2 engine up to 2016. One of the biggest issues with the Discovery Sport was that the DPF wouldn’t fit & it was moved further down the exhaust meaning it never got hot enough during regens. Lots of partial regens & oil dilution led to engine failures.
Hence the 2.2 TD4 versions of the Evoque & Disco Sport are now better sellers than the later 2.0 Ingenium
