- We head to the dyno to fix the biggest problem with the new Nissan Z! Plus we get a spicy flame tune because ya have to. The Nissan Z out of the factory is tuned to drop torque in the mid range which makes it feel laggy and lazy. We had that tuned out and pushed the power to see how much difference a straight pipe exhaust makes!

Hitting over 300kw/400hp and nearly 700nm the Nissan 400z drives as it should of come from factory. Nissan must have detuned the new Z to either meet emissions standards or to protect people from losing the rear end when leaving the golf course.
We now also have the worlds first Nissan Z to shoot flames!
This is definitely one of the must to modifications for the 2023 Nissan Z, add an aftermarket exhaust and put the Nissan 400Z on the dyno to get tuned and you will make a lot more power in the mid range.

Can't do a burnout without cutting power soon as the brake pedal is pushed , exhaust is shite has potential with more money put into it just the price is a little high for a glorified 370

The stock air box works great actually . To run full e85 you need injectors , low pressure fuel pump and high pressure fuel pump and flex sensor with filter for the vr30

If anything I’d upgrade to AMS or Z1 intakes for the built in velocity stack and high flow filter. Other than that can confirm the stock intakes are actually really good.
How is the v30's tunability compared to an N55 bmw engine in the m2?

@@keepitreet Don't put any mufflers or quiet it down whatsoever, that'd be a huge mistake. This current straight piped 3" turbo-back with the X pipe is perfect.

Please don’t claim rear wheel kilowatt on a hub dyno. Power is at the hubs. Number is inflated over a roller dyno.

@@Lofi.z34 I'm well aware of all that. Most engines actually don't do that if you remove the muffler, since the muffler has nothing to do with late ignition of fuel. There's a LOT of people that tune just to get pops and bangs, and THAT is that ricer shit. If it happens just because that's the nature of the car it's all good. My Evo definitely does it, but not on purpose, and it's not constant.
