I’m a freshman and I moved into a quad without interacting with my roommates beforehand and they were genuinely the most racist people I’ve ever met. I’ve since moved out but it’s still had a negative impact on my time here. From my experience I’d say that Colorado State has quite a bit of work to do when it comes to creating an inclusive environment and appeals to some trashy people who unfortunately thrive off of it being a PWI.

Would you say that CSU is very agriculture-based? If I'm not interested in that will I still make friends?

Great question! CSU is well-known to be agriculture-based. Still, there are so many other fields of study and non-academic involvement opportunities that will allow you to connect and become friends with people with different interests that may not necessarily be related to agriculture :) -Amanda
