On March 12, 2020, all BYU Choir performances were canceled due to COVID-19. In the months following, past and present members of the BYU Men’s Chorus assembled online to create this virtual choir. “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” from the musical Carousel by Rogers and Hammerstein, is a song of hope, love, and unity. It lifted our spirits as we sang it during some very dark days, and we hope that it will lift yours as we embrace this new year with hope of brighter days ahead.

Being able to play piano for the BYU Men's Chorus for several years was something I will always treasure. I am so grateful for Rosalind Hall, the previous Men's Chorus director, for her commitment to excellence and her dedication to teaching her men to be excellent, too. This brought tears into my eyes. Im a big fan for years already and especially in 2020, this song is what brought me forward in a difficult time. Thank you to everyone who participated, this is a great example for how we need every individual to create somenting great.
Very good to hear this. Two days ago my brother's house burned due to a wood stove and chimney fire. The house is badly damaged. It was my parents farmhouse. I grew up in it. And the fire has devastated me. Hearing this song sung like this brings me closure and helps me recover. Thank you to all who sung. You touched my heart in ways you dont know. ❤💕💗💜💜❤

Beautiful rendition. This song was the theme song of the Gleemen, my high school's chorus some 60 years ago at Waterford Kettering in Michigan. One of the legacies of the Covid 19 pandemic era is the wonderful music generated by all of the virtual chorus's around the world.
