This was by far my favorite song I sang in Men's Chorus. I was going through a very dark time when we were learning this song but the words and the music just gave me so much peace and perspective and I was pretty much brought to tears every single time we sang it. So sad I couldn't be on this tour but I surely will always carry this song with me wherever I go. Miss all my brothers in the men's chorus and making music together.

Who else has this on repeat? Helps me focus on my art in fullness.

My favorite arrangement of this song! It was so cool singing it in the old cathedrals in Europe too!

Wow! I must admit that I am surprised. Clicked on this video expecting to hear the well known LDS tune in a male choir version, and found a beautifully done rendition of contemporary harmony in a very well sung way! Congratulations BYU Men’s Chorus. This is a great work!

Why am I reminded of the 1983 TV movie The Day After?

Absolutely beautiful! I love this rendition!
I can still hear the weird audio issues from years ago. So the problem isn't with the HFAC recording system, but with whatever processing is done to all of the audio before being put up (most likely the data compression or format conversion settings).

This time was actually probably the insane reverberation from the cathedral (and secretly, it was just recorded on a phone, so that may be part of it).

@@jasonl7349 It's not a reverb thing. It's definitely a compression issue. This has been happening for years now. All of the BYU choirs recordings on youtube, spotify, and itunes from the last 10-ish (or less) years have weird digitization artifacts, and they're pretty consistent.
I'm not sure what it is, but it always bothers me because the music is just so good.
