Alpas is a deep, meaningful tagalog word which means “to become free or to break loose.”
Just like everyone else, our desire is to spread the truth and to set it free from being hidden from the shadows. What is true will always remain true, may be seen or unseen. Hence, Alpas Balita is a great name for a News TV Broadcast.
