CenterStage 2024 - Irene’s Dream Team

A beloved mom and grandmother, Irene feared the worst when she received a dire diagnosis of metastatic pancreatic cancer. But a multidisciplinary care team at the Mass General Cancer Center stepped in to provide an expert treatment plan that included chemotherapy, radiation and a Whipple surgery, a procedure for pancreatic cancer made routine by surgical oncologists at the Mass General Cancer Center. Today, Irene is in complete remission and lives with the hope of seeing her grandchildren grow up.
