Deciding with cold hate just how they would extract justice for Emily in the next world that was never gotten in the first. Ruminating for decades... decades... on just what they would ready in store for such a cruel bastard. When they found out who he was in the chapel, the only thing holding them back from tearing him to pieces in an angry mob was Elder Gutnecht reminding them they had to obey the laws of the Living World. Even when he cruelly mocked Emily with his brazen pride and lack of remorse and inflamed their rage to a new and fierce heat, they were held back, because he was Alive and they were not.
