MUST HEAR!!! Spool Up & Down With Nice Engine Sound | Delta MD-88 Landing EWR

MD-88 is crazy loud with its spool ups and downs during descent. It's one of the ONLY planes where you can actually hear the buzzing sound DURING descent and landing! JT8D buzzing starts at around 50% thrust, which is wayyy sonner than other engines. For example, the CFM56-7B buzzes only at around 85% thrust and above.

I will be forever grateful for getting to fly on the mad dog. I flew on this one with my dad who told me after the flight that it reminded him of the old Tu-134 and Tu-154 he used to fly back in the USSR. Both me and my dad were super happy to experience this piece of history!
