Weezer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from July 27, 2001, promoting The Green Album by playing "Island in the Sun". One of the few TV performances of the band playing with Mikey Welsh.
Ripped from an ancient 6-hour VHS tape that I recorded off TV. A few tape rolls and stutters, but haven't seen a better copy of this performance online.

Green is my favourite Weezer album. Mikey's last performance with the band there. I didn't know the hell he was going though until recent years long after his passing. Sleep well Mikey.

That caught my attention too then I played it back & saw that Jay shook Mikey's hand first, then Rivers, Brian, then back over to the guy behind Mikey which made it appear that way. He held it together for the performance. Great bass player. RIP Mikey.
