Yes, they say invest time in preparation of your music, which basically means Organizing it in playlists, Analyzing, setting your hot cues, correcting beat grid if needed(A lot of times for Bollywood Music), rating comments tags and what not, then sync it out to 2 USBs and keep those USBs safer than gold :P

i upgraded to rekordbox 6 and couldn't find the sync manager. it took me until 10:21 when you finally get to the sync part to see that I just don't have a sync manager button!

Just one question, if i will analyze my music for bpm, scale and grid in Mixed In Key, and after put it ready inside of Rekordbox, could is be also a good way for workflow?

I'm having an issue where when I'm trying mixes out using the 2 players within rekordbox my tracks are syncing perfectly. When I export the playlist to usb and play on my XDJ-RX2 alot of the tracks no longer sync. How do I solve this? Would sync manager help with this? Thankyou.
Hi I have used sync manager to move all my music to usb. However when I plug the usb into CDJs it doesn’t show any of my folders, only shows how many songs I have but won’t load any songs to play. Any ideas? Thanks

I did the syc manger method,I played to tracks in my xdj-rx and got all info waveform BPM.when I tried to play the 3rd track it didn't show anything anymore as if it hasn't been anyliszed any ideas

Which version of rekordbox and itunes should I be using? Bec my rekordbox isn't showing my playlist at all
One question. Does my files need to be in drive C music folder or is it alright if it is in my drive D? Because rightnow all my trackfiles is in my drive D. when i sync it to rekordbox, it did not copy all the sequence that i have in my folders instead it went all to the collection of the rekordbox. Hi Bhamra! Thanks a lot for explaining! I'm a starting DJ (I'm 11 years old) and I have my first gig at my school in 2 weeks. I use Rekordbox and I have a BeatSource Pro account. My playlist is set up, my cues are there and I know what I want to do in my set. BUT the 'real' DJ at my school has asked me to export the files to a USB. However, when I go into export-mode... I don't see any tracks in my playlist to export. Is this because I'm using Beatsource? How can I sync those to a USB so that I can keep al my cues? Thanks a lot! Bas (DJ The BASsdrop)

There's an arrow in "Sync Manager" that says "CUE GRID INFO" and goes from USB device to PC/Rekordbox, I bet that's what you want

Deep sir mera sync manager 33% p ake ruk jata hai. I took new sandisk ultra fir3.1 usb 64 gb the one which u recommended bt still wahi prblm. I formatted it in fat32 format n then started syncing br it stops at 33% n dont move ahead
One or or more files might be corrupt and so the sync process is getting stuck. Locate the file. Remove it and try again.
So just clicking on the folder corrupts it? I find that hard to believe

To export music from rekordbox to USB in MAC do I need to first change its type to FAT32?
I was about to ask that.. because normally any USB larger than 32gb won't be in FAT32 format...
Then if its not in FAT32 the CDJ wont recognize it...
what is the file you format the usb to, and what's the max gb for the usb for rekordbox?

Nope. Existing files will remain and new files will be added. There will be no duplicates

You have to be in "export" mode to use sync manager. You can change it on the top left. You are most likely in Performance mode :)
Hi Deep, I'm using the latest version of Rekordbox (6.6.4) on an M1 Mac.
I am trying to use the Sync Manager under the Export tab, to add files to USB. I cannot find the Sync Manager button where it would normally be in the bottom left corner.
I can only export files by right clicking the playlist & then Export playlist to USB drive, which as you say is not advisable.
I have the same problem. Where is it now? Can't find information anywhere.

@@jameshillblue I've found the problem! In order to sync with your device, you have to be in export mode (top left corner in rekordbox) maybe you are in performance mode. Once you are in export mode, it will appear the Sync Manager button in the bottom left corner.
