Back in the day, when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Miami in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.

If anything, it'll get worse. Very soon, affordable housing will no longer be affordable. So anything anyone want to do, I will advise they do it now because the prices today will look like dips tomorrow. Until the Fed clamps down even further, I think we're going to see hysteria due to rampant inflation. You can't halfway rip the band-aid off.

Home prices will come down eventually, but for now; get your money (as much as you can) out of the housing market and get into the financial markets or gold. The new mortgage rates are crazy, add to that the recession and the fact that mortgage guidelines are getting more difficult. Home prices will need to fall by a minimum of 40% (more like 50%) before the market normalizes. If you are in cross roads or need sincere advise on the best moves to take now its best you seek an independent advisor who knows about the financial markets.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don’t need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.

This is really deceptive as I have been searching in Spain for the past year where prices are rising very quickly. Anything under $200k is either old and a fixer upper, or set somewhere pretty far from the coast or cities. Most won't want a stone house as there is little heating in the cold or a/c in the hot summer months. Malaga is really expensive, and the towns around it, though less expensive than houses in the US, are becoming quite expensive. Also, Spain has very high tax rates for residents. If you earn as little as $35k/year, your tax rate can be 37-40%, and they will tax your Social Security at those rates. I still want to retire to Spain as my wife is getting her citizenship there, but it is not as cheap as advertised unless you are willing to be rural, which presents other problems, or in a rather small, old apartment.

From mid October until march this picturesque beauty turns into a ghost towns as of catering for tourism spring summer as well temperature can be very cold with little to do. Prices have rocketed over the past 25yrs as for a beautiful cottage that are nothing more than basic. Jobs are different to get in the french system plus language helps alot. Everything was destroyed, because whoever built those homes, and whoever allowed them to built them only cared for money and not human life. A country that doesn't have decent building codes should NEVER be on any good lists. So, no thanks, I rather not have tall buildings crumbled on top of my head.

I would buy in Argentina a property and live with my retirement and probably invest in some small business or buy additional property for extra income. The population of Argentina is comprised as much as 95% of people of European descent, mostly from Italy, Spain, and Germany. Argentina has vast land with different weather, me personally I want to go to Patagonia.

Well this is a discriminating video… I’m Italian and even I’m asking where’s Turkey in this crap video… you’ve listed some of the worst places to live… Greece doesn’t function properly and has a lot of poverty, southern Italy is the same and most cheap homes are in the middle of nowhere in some old village which is slowly emptying as the youth are moving overseas to work.
Turkey how ever is growing rapidly, way faster than the western world since it’s an emerging market and the world is heavily investing in manufacturing and agriculture.
Being Italian I’d ask… why would you want to live in Italy… the most unorganised western country with the most red tape out of all western nations.
Nothing works, there’s always strikes especially in the south from garbage to trains… Rome once again has wild boars running through the streets because of the piles of human garbage being left in the streets because of strikes 😂
And that’s not joke either. Google yourself!
