Ironman4x4 Foam Cell Pro Stage 2 Suspension Install on my 4Runner.

After 4+ years with my Bilstein TRD Pro suspension I swapped out to the Ironman4x4 Foam Cell Pro stage 2 kit. I am using a 3” medium front and 2” medium rear spring. I did this install by myself with a floor jack, two jack stands, and basic hand tools in under 6 hours.

Go to the stage 3. It frees up the ride way more. I did the stage 2 and realized quickly that the adjustable panhard bar was necessary. Running it for 3 years now and it’s amazing.

Stage 2 includes the panhard bar. Stage 3 adds the trailing arm.

Maybe it does now. It was in the stage 3 when I did in January of 21. Trailing arms weren’t part of it but beefier sway bar end links came with it

I see, I have the stage 2. Since I only have a 2" lift rear, they said it's not necessary for a stage 3

I totally understand wanting to swap out the TRD suspension for a different setup. One thing about going higher than 2" in the front is that the wheels get drawn in closer to the UCAs resulting in a narrower stance and causing possible rubbing issues.

The amount that the track width shrinks due to the arch swing of the arms between 1-3" is minimal. I don't have the time to do the math right this second.

I went with the same setup. Haven’t upgraded tires yet. What size tires are you running? Did you have to mod anything for rubbing? Wheel spacers?
Trying to see how big I can go before any major mods like a BMC are needed

the rep told me to just get stage 2 since I was running 34s(285/75r17s) and just the 3" of lift with no other mods. he said the pan bar wasn't going to need to be replaced. so I said okay and saved $500
