Very well said! I think it’s an issue many of us struggle with. Thank you so much for finding a way to explain

Traditions touch us so deeply - it was hard for me to walk away from a lot of the pomp and circumstance of church rituals - the smell of incense, carols, decorations, hymns and Gregorian chants - get me every time! Your emotional response resonated with me so much Veronica! What I was able to integrate into my body and beliefs is that Christmas - the celebration of the birth of Jesus - is the celebration of the stream of Christ Consciousness entering Earth and humans. Jesus was the first time a human fully embodied this Christ Consciousness and he served as an example of what humans can become - and more as he himself said! We are now in an awakening that is allowing us to shed the old paradigms to allow more and more room for this consciousness. The holidays allow us to celebrate this in whatever way resonates with us. I love that you emphasized the holiness of the season, and the importance of connecting with our loved ones here and on the other side. I wish you a holy, divine and merry Christmas my friend! Love, K.C.

Oh my sweet K.C.! You and I always do tend to resonate with things in a similar way, don’t we? ☺️ Thank you friend. I like the way you put this.

As a lifelong Catholic baptized going to Catechism holding hands with your neighbor, kneeling, silently praying talking with the priest about life after church all experiences I still very much treasure. Using incense, spraying with holy water sign of the cross with the right-hand ringing of bells, body of Christ. Still acts I continue to do outside the church. I visited 2 cathedrals in my lifetime. St. Patrick's in NYC and Our lady of Fatima in PA. It is. an experience to go inside. Why I don't go to a church or place of worship, right after mass over race to get out of the lot...can't do it fast enough, smiling is a sign of Jesus/God- nobody smiles or even grins in church. Growing up felt like everyone goes to mass out of habit, or guilt, comfort it's a personal private experience in front of a church full of others. A priest gave me a Godsmack moment when I was young. told me we only ever know God through other people. At our mom's funeral the priest did a condensed mass. I grabbed and shook his hand as a man of God with two hands and said thank you, thank you so much. It mattered not what he said or how he used the prayer card to talk about mom vs more personal. he was a man of God, and I was thankful more than anything else for him to see mom off.

Sending hugs to you!! Thank you for posting this video. Since I started my spiritual awakening almost 4 years ago, this time of year is difficult for me. I appreciate all of your videos ❤

I am catholic, and left my church, because I don't believe in that church, nor the people that attend it. But, I am still catholic, I can't stop believing in God. I believe in good and bad in all churches. You have to find where you fit. Don't give up on what you believed. Toxic people will remain toxic, just walk away!!

I also put up a Christmas tree for others in my condo complex that i live with. It brightens their night to feel joyous. Others in our community have their lights on too. But i have to always say truthfully i love to make food donations to my town food pantry for my community. That for me is Christmas, helping others without any attention for my actions from others. Even though i am not a Christian.

    Good food for the soul...
The winter solstice time is no longer celebrated as it once was, with the understanding that this is a period of descent and rest, of going within our homes, within ourselves and taking in all that we have been through, all that has passed in this full year which is coming to a close... like nature and the animal kingdom around us, this time of hibernation is so necessary for our tired limbs, our burdened minds.
Our modern culture teaches avoidance at a max at this time; alcohol, shopping, overworking, over spending, comfort food and consumerism. A lot of consumerism.
And yet the natural tug to go inwards as nearly all creatures are doing is strong and the weather so bitter that some people are left feeling that winter is hard. For those without burning fires and big festive families, some may feel lonely and isolated.
Whereas in actual fact winter is kind, she points us in her quiet soft way towards our inner self, towards this annual time of peace and reflection, embracing the darkness and forgiving, and accepting a loving embracing goodbye to the past year.
"Winter takes away the distractions, the buzz, and presents us with the perfect time to rest and withdraw into a womb-like love, bringing fire & light to our hearth".
.. and then, just around the corner, the new year will begin again, and like a seed planted deep in the earth, we will all rise with renewed energy once again to dance in the sunlight.
Life is a gift ❤ a Happy winter to you all...

    Hi Veronica!
Ohhh these feelings keep coming up, but not just for me I see. For me, I believe Christmas is still holy for the fact that Jesus was born. I still believe, at this time, that he was born to the Virgin Mary. If all this spirituality holds so much magic, why can’t his birth also be? I don’t believe in everything religion reaches, but I believe in him and the angels.
Sacred is our belief of God, however we choose to call him. Holy is that feeling of love when we feel God and or the angels around us. God is love.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with so much holiness ,love fulfillment and joy ! ❤

🎉🎉❤❤❤🎉🎉 You poor thing!! This was gut-wrenching to experience with you. I have so much love and compassion in my heart for you, and the gift of your channel is still here for me as I continue my spiritual awakening. I still celebrate my holidays and Christmas because I have embraced the fact when I left my religion, I still kept my faith in all the good of it and brought it with me. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, all still with me. The angels and saints, all still with me. All part of the Divine as we know it... However, I can also embrace Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, and the Universe, The Source, Chakras, etc.... I can love and except it all now. Just as you are doing, too. You must also embrace who you were, who you are now, and what you will become. We will all be together. We will all "get it" one day. If people need to hold on a little longer to what they believe, there is no harm in it if it brings peace, love, and joy. Ultimately, we will all catch up because we are all connected and all one. Merry Christmas!!!

You spoke of the Christmas tree and how you feel about it? Here is how a +lit+ Christmas tree affects me, when my artificial tree is turned on it helps me to meditate by focusing on the lights themselves. When I am relaxed and in 'the zone' I hear different things relating to my angels. Or there has been times that I can smell very faint smells such as perfume or sometimes motor oil. The strangest scent l that I have smelled was cigar smoke. So I have to say that my Christmas tree has been a meditational helper in many ways.

Christmas is a very special Holiday, that's for sure! But all of these Holidays were created for human beings. You can still participate in Christmas! But you can do it in your own way. You can still participate. If you walk into a Church, it's nobody's business why except yours and your guides. You can still do Advent candles, songs, the whole nine yards. You are still holy, even as a spiritual/new age person! (Luke 9:49) I still Love Jesus, too. You haven't lost any of your Holiness, or lost any ability to full participate in and enjoy Christmas. Just like you said - the church doesn't have a monopoly on Holiness, sanctification, yada, yada yada, even though they think & say they do (that's control). You can give up religion and still be Holy, and do it in a way that's unique and edifying to you.

I’m sorry that I triggered such a deep emotion in you, but I’m glad that my question helped you to piece this all together. Now that you processed this, will there be changes, again, in your traditions? When you told me that you no longer put up a nativity, I hurt for you. I didn’t understand why. I knew that you believed in Jesus and that he was a real being. Why not just change the symbology of what the nativity means? Instead of putting the Christian meaning to it, celebrate him as a star seed, an ascended master. Knowing your favorite Christmas song was O Holy Night also confused me. I now understand it all and am glad that you figured it out. Merry Christmas, my friend.

If you think of Jesus as the “sun”, it will all make sense to you. You can celebrate as a pagan, without giving up Jesus. Christmas is just Yule with Jesus added to it. It’s a pagan holiday to begin with! 😊

It’s funny, you say that, because I’ve actually been very drawn to paganism for quite a while now. ❤️
