Nicely done. I did the qualification SR in Jan 2023. Day 1n2 600 Day 3 300 Day 4 400 Day 5 Rest Day 6 200 . SR 6 was done in peak Indian winter which was also a challenge, but due to the support of the home team. I got it done well.

The wind are your mountains. The so called Dutch mountains.
Indeed Dutch mountains can be difficult :)
@Reemer Feddes mountains are the better choice: after going up there is always a descent. The wind will always hit you from the front .. so Dutch mountains are endless 😉

Do PBP rules now allow aero bars? I didn't think they did. Could be wrong.
They allow them in recent years :)
@@Buzzalong.cycling hmmm , that will make group riding "interesting". If you haven't done the PBP before, one of the surprises is how bad the general level of bike handling and roadsense is amongst a large minority of the participants. You see it in first 100km when everybody is buzzing and then again after 40 hours when people get tired.

@@schudi5755 Indeed, it never fails to amaze me the crap cyclist eat instead of healthy options like coconut water, raisins, fruit etc.
thanks for your comments, mostly Haribo but also as Leslie mentioned isotonic drink sometimes cookies, things you find in the supermarket and gas stations that are easy to drink and eat on the go :)
