On my fifth vehicle with a 3-pedal manual transmission. I have bump-started a couple of my vehicles with a low battery or failed starter. Technically, people have towed Teslas with low or practically dead traction batteries, but Tesla recommends that owners NOT do that, it'll likely void the warranty, and you probably need a full-sized truck/SUV to tow the Tesla. Not to mention the danger and possibly illegal towing with a rope/chain/strap situation. Personally, I will continue to drive a stick-shift daily for as long as the Good LORD lets me.
Teslas don’t have manual transmission therefore the car sucks meanwhile I can use manual in sports car and show off that I have better driving skills 😎
@@fakemrbeast8278 Damn right, nothing beats a manual transmission. The stick shift driver is in tune with reality physics, not fantasy.
The screen freezing is actually quite common and the gear shifter falling off is not, and also, even Tesla knows people hate the yoke, that's why they added back the standard steering wheel, the yoke really is not good for turning

@Joshua :) leasing a car that's relatively new is simply a idiotic financial decision due to multiple factors, like the car losing value each year it is used and way better things you can invest in that will bring you passive income(as an example real estate and being a landlord) you gain nothing from leasing(or even buying) a brand new car besides the style points

We’re fine with issues in our gas cars, nobody drives like that and finally Tesla haters don’t ask such dumb questions. Who here agrees with me 👇🏻
I literally drive my Tesla everyday. What are you on about with automatic driving? You mean FSD? Yeah some mornings I like to grab my coffee and roll the windows down and relax while my car drives to work for me. Other days I drive myself and rip the 3.2 0-60 I got with my AWD acceleration boosted motor 😂
“What happens if you run out of gas?” Walk to the nearest gas station, grab a jerry can and some fuel, go back to your car and fill it. You can drive it around for some time. Unlike electric cars. “Your kid can get their finger caught in any door” Your car will hydraulically press the door closed ensuring maximum pain. While regular doors sure do have the same pain power, there’s a chance it won’t latch, due to the finger in the way, ensuring less pain. “What happens if your gear selector falls off” Are you high? Have you driven a gas powered car before? Even IF it falls off, just shift the lever into first gear/ put your foot on the brake, select drive and go! “So your chilling with black seats with hidden dirt and you’re fine with that” It will sure as hell look better than white seats after some years of use. “You adjust your mirrors once and you’re good” What about if someone needs to use your car or something? I know 2+ people owning only one car. “I’m hot” *Car adjusts temperature* You can’t even be bothered to reach your hand out and adjust it yourself? Oh wait, it’s because it’s buried deep in some menu. Boy you sure wish it was as simple as a few knobs… “And you driving like this isn’t safe either” Wow! The perfect comeback! Now do a 3-point turn. And then parallel park. People like this guy are one of the main reasons why other people dislike Teslas. Including myself. Snowflake.
The mirror thing actually really pisses me off bc some ppl who have trucks and actually use it as a fucking truck normally adjust the mirrors either for towing or to fold them in so they dont stick out while parked. Also id much rather have some knobs than a whole as screen, plus at night the screen can just be kinda bright and in ur face.
Goddamn man love it, what you gon do if the gas runs out, mf what you gonna do if your battery runs out in Nevada. Aint nobody got a spare battery or charger
But if your finger gets caught in a normal door, it will bounce off (it'll hurt like hell but it doesn't smash your finger) The tesla door is motorized and if you get caught in it, IT KEEPS GOING, and it WILL crush your finger, and it can cause finger detachments.
#1 we never let our cars run out of gas. #2 not a bad point. #3 gear knobs rarely fall off. #4 I like to not see the dirt and don't like seeing seats stained by stuff. #5 it wastes the smallest amount of space and sometimes you just stick your hand out the window to adjust your mirror. #6 I guess it's nice so your not distracted. #7 not everyone drives like that.
Also since I'd feel gas station is half a mile down, you can walk, grab a can and walk back to fill up a little ans drive the short walk to the station for a full fill.
1. I’ll buy a jerry can and put gas in it and I’ll be back on the road in a few minutes. 2. That is the most impractical door design for a family car I’ve ever seen. 3. A shifter falling off is literally impossible and on most cars you can still move the shifter by probing the shifter housing with a screwdriver, bolt, etc. and on some cars you can just straight up move the selector by hand. 4. You know people clean their cars right? 5. You shouldn’t have to use the touchscreen. There should be a physical button and no it’s not taking up space. If you have ever backed up a trailer or gotten into a tight spot you need to see the bottom of your car for you should just be able to move the knob and your good. 6. People get killed every day because of automakers making literally every option on touchscreens now. It’s literally as dangerous texting and driving if not more dangerous. Except now it’s legal because it’s a “feature” 7. That steering wheel is one of the stupidest designs in new cars and needs to be dropped as it is also killing people. Especially sense those steering wheels use steer by wire. Also no. Driving with both hands on top of the steering wheel is not dangerous. And literally nobody does that anyway so I don’t understand why you’d even said that.

I’ve probably preached this before, but actually the concept of the yoke is safer because it forces the drivers hands into the correct (and more importantly SAFER) position of left and right side respectively. In the event of a high speed collision (where the steering wheel will in all likelihood be pointed straight ahead) the driver’s hands are out of the way of the airbag (because they’re on the sides) and in low speed collisions the airbag’s would just be overkill so they’re not deployed.

As Ev tires wear out, they leave behind more tiny particles of rubber than normal ice cars. This causes more pollution.

19. People without a pro charger system or a parking spot at their house, will run an extension cord to the road, which is dangerous and could lead to people tampering with your charging setup (super slow charging at the road)
20. If you're in California, you won't be able to charge your car past 4pm because of a shortage of electricity supply on the cheesy grid.
21. It is not actually "green". The pollution is made at the power station, not the car.
22. Only 5% of used junk batteries get recycled, the rest go directly into the bin. It's cheaper to mine for new minerals.
23. Chhinna actually does 70% of all the refining of the minerals and production of the batteries.
24. Minerals are becoming more and more scarce, and the cost will only go up, not down.
25. Some countries where they mine for lithium, actually use a very big boat load of fresh water to only produce a ton of lithium, so they are afraid of running out of water. It takes over 2 million liters of fresh clean water to produce 1 ton of lithium.
26. Ev cars will soon not be able to drive in tunnels or be able to park in underground parking garage and probably will eventually void your house insurance if you park it in your personal garage....
27. You can't charge your battery at super stations when it is bitter cold out.
28. If a fire truck comes to put out an Ev fire, all the chemicals go directly into the sewer system, poisoning everything. They need tons of water to slow down the burn. They can't put them out. They are only trying to prevent over things near by from catching fire.
29. Ok, there is 2 good things; regenerative braking, which charges the battery while you are slowing down on the highway, which saves your brakes from much wear.
30. Loss of fuel tax revenue, so now the roads will only get worse, not better.
31. in Dublin, huge generators are being used to charge EV buses, due to electrical grid strain. buses in Athlone also cannot be put on charge until midnight, for the same reason. Bus Éireann is saying that they can't charge their buses until 11pm for the same reason, and to avail of a lower tariff.
32. Not everyone on earth even has electricity to charge their cars. What are they supposed to do in 2035? It's easy to get a bucket of fuel to power up a regular car.
33. VCE, or "vapour cloud explosion" is very bad. If any battery, typically anything larger than an E-scooter battery, and especially only "half" charged. If a problem occurs in the cells, it might not catch on fire right away. Instead, a cloud appears, and then may be ignited a short period afterwards. There are 2 different types of vapour clouds that appear; heavier and lighter than air, which form will be dominate, can not be predicted yet. This produces a bomm.
34. For Ev transport trucks, they aren't allowed to carry the same payload as a diesel truck, because of the massive weight of the battery. The owner of the Ev truck therefore loses potential profit, every day. They also lose more profit for the waiting times for charging that Ev truck. The driver will get paid to charge the truck, which in turn forces the owner of the truck to lose more money.
35. Ev cars are more likely to be written off, if they experience a minor collision. After the collision, something could have upset the structural integrity of the battery.
36. Ev cars lie to you. If you are bold enough to go out on a decent road trip and its 210 miles, one way, and your Ev tells you that your battery will last you 223 miles, there had better be no hills, or excessively cold out.... You'll probably get stranded, trying to get to the charger, at the end of the trip. Ev's have left many families stranded already.
37. Ev's and their batteries, will soon need their very own "passport". With all info about them when born, and current info about them (power output, resistance, mineral composition, etc.)
38. Thieves stealing charging cables, will soon make it impossible to "fuel" an Ev car. They take a long time to replace the cables, just to have them cut again for scrape money.
39. Cars were typically being made lighter and lighter using aluminum and or fiberglass and or carbon fiber, to reduce emissions and pollution. Ev's are only getting heavier and heavier, causing more pollution than ever. Remember, an ev's pollution is made at the power station and the dump, not at the actual Ev, except for the tire particles as mentioned above.
40. More on spontaneous combustion of the battery. What if you had 3 kids strapped into car seats, in the back seat ,which kid do you rescue? More fires start so fast, there is hardly any time for even the driver to escape, let alone 3 kids strapped in.
41. There must be a reason that Boeing 747's aren't battery powered.... Until jets are battery powered, I'll be sticking to fossil fuels for my mode of transportation.
42. Can't bring an Ev up north in the woods, nor any battery powered chain saws, where there are no grids to charge them up. You would need a huge amount of solar panels to get you anywhere.
Ev's (External combustion vehicles) suck, and it's a bridge to nowhere. But they do sometimes convert themselves into "internal combustion", but sadly, they can only do that 1 time.

10. Higher insurance rates
11. Replacing tires more
frequently. Michelin states that tires wear out 20% faster on an Ev, and could be as high as 50% faster! Ev tires made for ev's, cost 20 to 30% more, than regular tires for ice cars. As Ev tires wear out, they leave behind more tiny particles of rubber than normal ice cars. This causes more pollution.

18. If they catch fire in a tunnel, many people will die.

Drove a late model car with a touchscreen across the state once- south australia, wallaroo to naracoorte and back- 1000km. Coming home at night its a real pain with a bright screen in the middle of the dash. Terrible distraction night driving with that. Unfamiliar friend's car so no idea how to turn the bastard off. Touchscreens should be illegal.
