The fact Georgie had a kid and drop out of high school too help take care of the baby and be the man of the house for Mary, Missy and Sheldon and George died and then went to be becoming the most successful tire manager in Texas says alot of how mature he became
@timpowell1429 I mean yea he's a good man for taking care of his family. But he dropped out cuz he hated school and wanted to work. His parents were pissed
It gives me mixed emotions how Sheldon didn’t want to say goodbye to George. It also makes me sad how when Mary gave her speech, it made Missy sad too.
If you think saying goodbye to your daddy by his casket isn’t traumatic, I can empathize with Missy. I was just 7yo when I stood by my daddy’s casket in 1951. I’m 80 now and as Missy cried for her daddy, I cried along with her for my daddy who was killed in a coal mining accident 73 years ago. So death can be overwhelmingly painful to children.
I was 12. I was absolutely lost. I did not understand anything about death not that anyone does. I did not know what to say, how to act or what to do. I’m 73 and it’s still with me.
The fact that the series young sheldon everyone thought it was about sheldon but no it was about George the whole time!how he tried to be the best farther in the world and tried to do his job at the same time he was always loved and everyone will love him!❤❤❤❤ we’re praying for him❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a final episode. I'm STILL crying.😢 Can't imagine Lance Barber staying still for all that time until they closed the casket. Wonderful acting on the entire cast. Gonna miss Young Sheldon... though it should be released on Blu-ray
Sadly I lost my father three ago very tragically. I’ll say this it’s never good by. It’s catch y’all later. Like my dad would say. Life is so precious, don’t waist it. Call ur loved ones. The next day is never promised. I don’t like to talk about how my dad died but never forget they are always there, watching over you everyday. Just watched for the signs
I relate to this so much. my dad died when i was ten. I hated when my mom said do you want to say goodbye. i love you dad happy father's day in heaven.
The way Sheldon shook his head in no to see his father one last time is what made me cry the most😭 And the flashbacks and memories that missy had made me cry so muchhh😭😭😭
This scene was so sad 😭😭😭. Also I understand why missy was so distraught during the episode. It was grief and sadness. Also maybe a little regret on how she has been acting while he was alive but still she really cared for her father.
Its traumatizing, going near that. When my grandfather died, i refused to go near the casket. I didn't want to cry. He always told me and my sister not to cry when he died. She cried, but i refused to. I when i was forced to go to the casket, i was so overwhelmed, heartbroken and guilty that i never got to see him for over 6 months before he died. I broke down, and still have nightmares about that. I feel like sheldon knew how he would be if he went, so he chose not to. It was my grandfather for me, but it was his father for him
Sheldon was also baptized after the funeral because mary wanted sheldons soul to be safe and he got baptized but missy was also supposed to but she just walked because pastor jeff said something to her to make her mad
The thing is that like every time I watch something really sad. It hurts my feelings and then I can. Of something that something happened to me. And yeah, but this is the saddest thing that I ever saw in my life. I know, oh yeah, I never saw it anymore and did it be in the world, but yeah, mostly yeah, it's really hard for me not to cry but I cried.
Mary doesn’t give enough credit to Georgie considering the fact that he had to manage his family along with a newly wed and a baby. He was a dropout who had to go through so much at the young age of 18-19 years and still he went on to become a successful entrepreneur. No way Sheldon has the capability to pull that off!
Usually at least at funerals I've been to the kids stay close to casket. But guess they let Mary orchestrate that too..she was barely there herself. Very unrealistic..
I've seen the pictures online showing them helping Lance Barber into the coffin, Raegan Revord (Missy) laughing as he laid there - he probably cracked a joke. Finally, the pictures showing Lance dressed as a woman mourner and attending the funeral - yes, he did, and no, you can't see him in this video as he was seated near the back. So yes, we know it's a show, no one really died, but seeing this brings back memories for a lot of people who lost their fathers, me included. It was well acted. It's a shame you have an issue with that.
@@haileeslvr I understand everyone grieves differently, but Sheldon is a person who is checked out completely. Meaning that he’s a sociopath. During the whole series of Young Sheldon and TBBT Sheldon’s character is the epitome of a walking zombie. He literally only has 1 expression on his face and really doesn’t care about anyone except himself
@@beccamcdonald9846his mother had the biggest impact on him, he barely learned any social skills as a child and was TOO smart. Mary held back the family the whole show from their true potential, if she hadn’t been so clingy to Sheldon and stuff, and gave all of her family the attention instead of just Sheldon, he might’ve turned out differently like a normal person but still extraordinarily smart.
@@brandonott6103 Ok I can agree that Mary did baby Sheldon beyond compare, but Mary babying Sheldon didn’t affect his social skills. As far as social skills as a whole nobody is “too smart” to develop SIMPLE social skills. Developing social skills is literally the BASICS to being a human. Sheldon has no social skills BECAUSE he is a sociopath. Sociopaths don’t even know how to hold a “normal” civil conversation with another human being. So it doesn’t matter how many excuses you make up, it’s ALWAYS gonna come back to Sheldon is a sociopath.
