- As time passes over in this online reality that ordinary all over the world compete in a player can be shown to be the greatest. Over this time movies will be made about these players boasting their abilities as they take down 3, 4, 5 members of the opposite team in sucession. Players will remember Fragarea 1 and 2 from its focus upon Parodias victory over Idle.ee in Eurocup XII to the victory that the Netherlands dealt over Germany in Nationscup IX. Of course between those two Fragareas and now he also was responsible for the Winghavens Second Nature movie.
But now after a single month of slaving at his PC with moviemaking tools Korean moviemaker Quaky has finished Fragarea 3 which focuses upon the more recent events from Quakecon 2005 up to and including the CPC2 event. Much like its pre-decessors this Fragarea focuses on the big hits that players make in order to lead their team onto victory.
I caught up with Quaky to get his view on his finished piece:

The movie also incorporates action from CPC2 focusing on the players of The Last Resort , Evolve ,
Dignitas and Impact Gaming all to the sounds of Quakys ghettoblaster music.
From my personal point the movie is at a good length, 6 minutes and 45 seconds of quality fragging action from some players whom none of us have ever heard of, and once again Quaky has provided a great way of presenting a tournament in his movies. The only minor point about it is that it does miss some defining frags yet maybe they will be used in the next Fragarea? Well have to wait and find out.

damn crying a little bi rn, for me the best FPS game i ever played as a kid. always dreamed about playing for one of these teams back in the days but i was just a lowskill. i remember downloading fragarea 3 straight from gamestv when it came out and me and my friends were talking about it for days. even witnessed some of these plays on one of those live broadcast servers back then. damn the nostalgia hit me hard! too much to talk about this great game
good old times, learning the maps, practicing strafejump and trickjump for hours on end, xfire, clan life, so many players and servers, barely anything left now... good times. shoutouts: dynamite planted, defenders of europe, brothers and sisters, golden gamerz, h2o, elite army, rox

This game really needs to be re-released today with actual servers and better graphics. Everything else must remain the exact same, from the weapons to maps to the game mechanics/engine, but the game needs actual servers

after 2006 came out 2.60b,thats true.But there was 2.60 too,and ETpro 2.something And ETpro 2.older SHOUTCAST hitsounds worked.

telling the diff between the teams is easier than a game like cod where everyone wears the same stuff, and the patching isnt necessary if u feel like u wanna just play a basic 2.55 server, but i cant help u on the botless servers. there are a lot out there that are full of people but u just gotta find them

Inspiring video, but i will never play this because i cant understand where allied and enemy units, also very difficult to get patched to join servers, also too difficults to find botless servers
TLR and Digintas are BEST ETpro CLANS I ever seen(there isnt any TLR anymore,digintas retired,but what about TLR,idk)
on 2.15 he uses aimbot :)
mAus is freakin godlike, CPC2 - legendary LAN. Good old days... Btw 2:15, last kill is on speed cam so it looks like bot but if you watch the actual match will see it's not :)

Lol does noone see the blatant aimbot use around 2:12 ? Watch how the aim snaps to the guy on the cliff. Who is not even visible, when hes shooting inside.
