I must say, I love your tutorials. You are one of the rare Blender CZcamsr here mentioning sketching and blocking out as the main elements for creating a scene or a project. Usually, the tutorials are about how to create materials, modeling, or doing VFX, (and selling addons), but never about how to conceptualize everything from scratch.
As a mid-level Blenderer, I really appreciate that, because I am often stuck on the viewport with a perfectly modeled object but nothing to do with it. Usually scenes are much bigger projects and require some more organization and explanations, so they are not a good fit for the 10min videos to sell addons that we usually have here. So thank you for that!

This is a perfect video for those that are mid level blender users, which is exactly what I was looking for. Its not a step by step handwalk like other tutorials for complete beginners. And if you want to follow along its super simple. Please keep doing more of these because I could really use these types of videos. thank you!

Very nice tutorial. I learned a lot. Could I make a suggestion for not working destructively for upcoming young artist or senior artist that might not know or forget to do.. You can make the flatten Merged layer files into smart objects, and have them editable: Noise, Highpass, Camera Raw etc…and edit them later on. Or if you want to apply the same effects on other projects you can simply drag those files over, and apply the effects to the other flatten merged smart objects. You can, or edit them later on if you did not like the effect you did. That’s only a suggestion…. working non-destructive is the key to a better artist besides naming your layers. Just a tip…. I see so many upcoming talented artist having bad habits in the industry, and see them being told that their processes of layering needs more improvement, and being denied on working on other projects. And they get frustrated, and ask me why at work that they need to work more efficient. I have to open up their files at work, and explain on better habits on creating artwork. That’s if you are in the industry creating art. If its your own work that your creating for you. Please disregard my message.

Thanks for your comment. Really appreciated what you were saying. And you are totally right. I for myself look out for speed and ease of use in these things. As I am working just by myself on tutorials and not being in a team it has not been a priority of mine to keep a good structure and to work non destructively. But I should do so because I am teaching people bad habits at the moment. I will look out for these things in the future. Thanks again 😉
