Allah’s beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Convey from me to others even if it’s one verse” (Bukhari). This hadith clearly demonstrates you don't need years of study to give dawah although it's good to have more knowledge. This video message to the viewers is before you start dawah make sure you have vast knowledge.

I don't have a good knowledge in Quran. I need the translation and the tafsir of each verse to understand fully what happened. So, if someone on CZcams misinterpret Quran, can I guide him or told him the truth? My references in tafsir of Quran is Tafsir Ibn Kathir.

If someone publicly misrepresents the religion, it's an Islamic obligation to correct it publicly. When doing dawah, Muslims should have more fear of misrepresenting Islam than about being corrected. If someone corrects us, we should never take it personally but rather be thankful to them that they prevented us from accidentally misguiding anyone and from us having to bear the consequences in the afterlife.

I know Ali will be reading some of these comments - so I'll just say this. I don't doubt Ali's sincerity - I met him before when he came to the US and told him that I appreciated the work that he does, and he clearly got uncomfortable with the praise. Someone who likes attention wouldn't have reacted that way. However, as Saajid pointed out, is there any justification to be posting women's awrah in videos and thumbnails? And the talk show is another thing that I question about whether it is halal. Ali, you once wanted to meet with Shaykh Fawzan to settle a dispute you had with another brother, I think you should ask yourself what his views would be about some of your content/the way you portray them. I hope that our brother Ali doesn't just retaliate to this video without watching it with an open heart and absorbing mind. I expect (but hope not to see) a reaction video or post by him. I sincerely hope that Ali heeds this message. His channel has become just exactly as you described, entertainment (and I will add, a means for views and subscribers). I've seen many who have gone down the path of sincerely wanting to do good but through their efforts, zeal and means of achieving this, they themselves became corrupted. This Hadith is a great reminder.
Al-Darimi in the Muqaddima of his Sunan narrated from al-Hakam ibn al-Mubarak who narrates from Umar bin Yahya who narrates from his father Yahya who narrates from Amar bin Salima:
We used to sit by the door of `Abd Allah ibn Mas`ud before the Morning Prayer, so that when he came out we would walk with him to the mosque. (One day) Abu Musa al-Ash`ari came to us and said: “Has Abu `Abd al-Rahman come out yet?” We replied No. So he sat down with us until he came out. When he came out, we all stood along with him, so Abu Musa said to him: “O Abu `Abd al-Rahman! I have just seen something in the mosque which I considered wrong, but all praise is for Allah, I did not see anything except good in it.” He inquired: “What is it?” Abu Musa replied: “If you live you will see it. I saw in the mosque people sitting in circles awaiting the Prayer. In each circle they had pebbles in their hands and a man would say: Repeat Allahu Akbar a hundred times. So they would repeat it a hundred times. Then he would say: say La Ilaha illAllah a hundred times. So they would say it a hundred times. Then he would say: say SubhanAllah a hundred times. So they would say it a hundred times.” Ibn Mas`ud asked: “What did you say to them?” Abu Musa said: “I did not say anything to them. Instead I waited to hear your view on it.”
Ibn Mas`ud replied: “Would that you had ordered them to count their evil deeds and assured them that their good deeds would not be lost!” Then we went along with him until he came to one of these circles whereby he stood and said: “What is this I see you doing?” They replied: “O Abu `Abd al-Rahman! These are pebbles upon which we are counting takbir, tahlil and tasbih.” He said: “Count your evil deeds instead. I assure you that none of your good deeds will be lost. Woe to you, O Umma of Muhammad, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, how quickly you go to destruction! Here are your Prophet’s Companions available in abundance (mutawafirun). And there are his clothes which have not yet decayed and his bowl which is unbroken. By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! Either you are following a Religion that is better guided than the Religion of Muhammad sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, or you are opening a door of misguidance.” They said: “O Abu `Abd al-Rahman! By Allah, we only intend good!” He said: “HOW MANY ARE THERE WHO INTEND GOOD, BUT DO NOT ACHIEVE IT. Indeed Allah’s Messenger said to us: A people will recite the Qur’an but it will not pass beyond their throats. By Allah! I do not know, but perhaps most of them are from among you.” Then he left them.
Amar bin Salima said: We saw most of those people fighting against us on the day of Nahrawan, on the side of the Khawarij.

This is a direct result of not having studied enough. Also, his rapid speech is not of the sunnah, as our Prophet Muhammad spoke very slowly and everyone who listened understood.

His channel and others came up when I searched for Islamic-related content. Watched a bunch and felt appalled and uncomfortable by many of them for a number of reasons - most of which you've addressed already. I could literally feel my Imaan diminishing more and more with each video I consumed. Eventually decided to keep away from online dawah and reach out to Muslims irl instead - and alhamdullilah regained faith and the feeling of tranquility which I initially felt just by being around them and seeing how they live their lives (may Allah bless and protect them!). But in a way, it's a shame really; that the average Muslim is apparently of better character than those calling others to Islam (online), in my opinion at least. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Anyway, just my two cents to the whole thing

Jazak Allah khair Ustadh. I have been in pain over this for a while. The Scottish Revert Teacher made a post about thos a while back. I understand that brothers in dawah are trying to compete with non Muslim influencers to get the attention of young Muslims. However we should not underestimate the younger generation beliving that they dont know what is Islamic or not, and we should not be misleading those who dont know if something is acceptable Islamically. Problem is too many of us are following the lead of non Muslim influencers to get views and follows etc. This is not the way of the Prophet salallahu alayhiwasalam. He never compromised with Quraish or anyone in order to get followers, he only did what was pleasing to Allah. This dunya is full of traps and temptations. As Muslims we cannot use the excuse that the ends justifies the means if it is not correct. May Allah rectofy our affairs ameen.

This is very important, may Allah bless you. I realized looking at Muslim bloggers who promote Islam that it's much better to have less audience and do good work. The more audience you have the harder it gets to admit that you were wrong, that you're doing something wrong, cause there are so mane people to praise you. The difference between those who have knowledge (ustadths, students of knowledge) and bloggers is just huge. The adab, wording and everything is different. So dear American Muslims, English speaking Muslims let's watch and listen to the content that is made by those Who Have Knowledge!!!

I’m born a muslim but I was never religious. I don’t pray 5 times a day, I seldom fast and make dua. But recently I started feeling an urge to learn about Islam. I wanted to listen to what the religion is about and give it a chance.
And then I found few CZcamsrs like the ones you mentioned. And I was appalled. Their content made me want to stop doing my research because of the way they talk about women. I’m not a radical feminist or anything like that, but I do believe that women have all rights to education and working. I’m currently in med school and being an independent woman is very important to me. And while being independent is important, of course I would get married and respect my husband, the same way I would respect anyone I loved.
But all those negative content I was watching was really messing with my head and I started distancing myself from the religion. But then I found other scholars like Mufti Menk etc, and I started loving listening about Islam again. They didn’t focus their entire content on men/women discourse and focused more on the beauty.
I thought I was the only one who felt like the islam being promoted by these CZcamsrs isn’t exactly the islam I was learning about. Now it all makes sense.

    • @IYasmineI
      @IYasmineI Před rokem +1

@@kojo2773 To sum it up in a really short way, he invited a redpill ally guest that spoke about a marriage as a game of keeping score without ever mentioning that it's a teamwork that needs understanding, compassion, and mercy at its core. One of the ideas his guest emphasised was if a wife gets educated and/or works, then she's taking value from her husband and she should be banned from doing these things. He also was asserting that a mans value was relying only on how much he spends on his house hold, while a woman's value lies only in her completion of house work. And though no one would contradict the fact that a husband should provide for his household needs, and a wife should take care of her house, he rigidly asserted that none of the two partners should choose to help the other because it affects their masculine/feminine image and they should both strictly stick to their responsibilities without any consideration to conditions where one of them might feel tired or sick. For example, the guest suggested that a husband should not help his wife with the house chores even if she just has delivered a baby, since his role is to strictly provide the financial needs of the house. Consequently it lead some women to get provoked in the comments saying that then they shouldn't bare with or help the husband if he loses his job. What I've mentioned here is just a small sample of the kind of redpill extreme views in that episode. Ali did a lot of damage to the image of Muslims and Islam by that one episode, and, as I mentioned before, have scared a lot of people of marriage especially to a Muslim guy. I personally hope that he'd take that episode down before it does any further damage.

Finally someone, may Allah bless and reward you immensely. I got blocked by Ali Dawah and have been told to “shut up” by him when I commented that this type of liberal inspired fitna filled mixed gathering is unislamic by backing it up with the following daleel:
Verse No. 53 of Surat al-Ahzab, or the Confederates (Interpretation of the meaning); "...for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs..."
In explaining this Verse, Ibn Kathir (May Allaah have mercy on him) said:
"Meaning, as I forbade you to enter their rooms, I forbid you to look at them at all. If one wants to take something from them, one should do so without looking at them. If one wants to ask a woman for something, the same has to be done from behind a screen."
Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said that after Allah’s Messenger (May peace and blessings be upon him) said "as-Salamu ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullah’ twice announcing the end of prayer, women would stand up and leave. He would stay for a while before leaving. Ibn Shihab said that he thought that the staying of the Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) was in order for the women to be able to leave before the men who wanted to depart."
Narrated by al-Bukhari under No. 793.
Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"The best of the men’s rows is the first and the worst is the last, and the best of the women’s rows is the last and the worst in the first."
Narrated by Muslim under No. 664.
It says in Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (12/149): “It is not permissible for a man to teach girls directly because of the serious dangers and grave consequences involved in that.”
It’s also ironic how he would never in a million years allow his own wife to sit on a couch and talk to non-mahram men about anything and everything (including virginity) as he doesn’t lack gheerah, yet unfortunately is obviously completely fine with it when it's someone else's wife.
May Allah guide and protect us all.

Most of those popular Dawah Channels on youtube has no knowledge about Islam. You should have knowledge about Islam when you act as Daeyah to call people to Islam. Sorry to say majority of Daeyah on youtube like in Speakers Corner doesn't have enough knowledge about Islam. They use Philosophy more than Quran and Sunnah to answer questions about Islam . Last month I was trying to correct one popular brother from speakers Corner during his livestream to answer question about Islam using Quran and Sunnah. I joinrd him live and I thanked him to let me join his popular show. The surprised he didn't allow me to speak and asked me to leave the show. I contacted the brother several times in private adviced him to learn more about Islam because he doesn't have much knowledge about Islam. He doesn't know how to answer questions about Islam using Quran and Sunnah.. He know much more about the Bible than Islam . Sadly the brother attacked me during his show and blocked me. Another young brother from USA popular on youtube has same problem. He answer questions about Islam acting as popular daeyah who has no knowledge what so ever about Islam.I joined his livestrem when he was talking to Arab Christian who was insulting Islam and he wasn't able to answer most of the questions He kept me back stage didn't allowed me to join him. I adviced him several times and his reply is to attack me when ever he has the chance . The First Word Revealed to Prophet Muhammad is READ READ READ connected with the Pen which means seek knowledge and Education about your Lord Allah and about Islam to speak with people and invite them to Islam. Allahu Almustaan.

@@Ibrahim-fh6bn Do you know what is Aqil and Naqil in Islam? Aqil is Human intellect and Naqil is the eternal devine text and words of Allah in the Holy Quran. It is wrong and Haram to Elevate Human intellect over the divine text Words of ALLAH. You have to answer the questions about Islam by using Quran and Sunnah as your first source then after that you can add your Philosophical arguments . If you use Philosophical argument first to answer questions about Islam you Elevate Human intellect over the divine text Words of ALLAH which is HARAM . Therefore as Daeyah Muslim Preacher you have to study Islam and have some Academic Islamic study before you start acting as Daeyah answering questions about Islam.
