    I’ve bought both this and Anker 521 on sale pretty much the same prize, but Baseus is faster and holds more juice. I can’t decide which one to keep. Anker holds status of a ,,more premium” company and due slower charging propably is healthier for iPhone battery but Baseus is bigger. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  Před rokem

      The Anker one has a smaller capacity at only 5,000mah. The Baseus has 6,000mah. I'd keep the Baseus. But ultimately I recommend this latest 10,000mah one czcams.com/video/Fanni5zx8TI/video.html which is not much bigger. Watch that review with efficiency tested as well.

  • @OmairArif
    @OmairArif Před rokem +5

    I've realized something about this and several other magsafe power banks. While they are designed for iPhone, and cap out at 7.5W on iPhone, many of these also support 15W via Qi EPP. I guess either so they can technically say 15W support and confuse iPhone customers, or just because the hardware could theoretically do it so they left it available. Whatever reason, it means on many Android phones they will output up to 15W and get VERY Hot if you charge for 10+ minutes.
    It unfortunately means for me, as my main device is an Google Pixel in a MagSafe compatible case, that this charger (which was honestly the favorite of the ones I tried) and several others (such as the E33A and E33B many recommend) just aren't practical for me to use.

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for sharing! Were you able to get 15W out of this Baseus MagSafe charger I reviewed? I don't have Android phones.

    • @OmairArif
      @OmairArif Před rokem +2

      @@ToolsElectroDIY yes, I don't know if it exactly was 15W, because I don't have proper testing equipment right now. I am using an app for Android called AccuBattery, which gives a rough estimate based on battery change. I do know that it was definitely greater than 7.5W and based on Baseus' stated specifications and my phone's specifications, it should theoretically be doing up to 15W.

    • @OmairArif
      @OmairArif Před rokem +2

    I have baseus 6000 mah and used for iPhone SE 2020 it’s charge phone 46% and drained wirelessly . Later checked it’s cable and its charge 2 time my phone . It’s mean it’s waste the power in heat. It’s heat up a lot while charging wirelessly

    • @ToolsElectroDIY
      @ToolsElectroDIY  Před 7 měsíci

      True. The efficiency is only around 54% when using wireless charging and around 74% in wired mode. I tested many MagSafe power banks and it is true for all of them.
