My wife used to work for a company that had limited shared garage access in their building in the city. They issued garage door openers only to those who were given a special parking space in there. Well, she set up the in vehicle garage door opener to work for the door. Within a year she had left the company. Five years later we were driving by and for giggles, she hit the programmed vehicle opener system... and voila! the garage still opened to her signal. Huge security challenges there, far more dangerous potentials than just free parking by ex employees, especially since that company had left that building for another location.
I'm feeling like any garage door opening system that works on older unsecured or easily copied RF remotes needs replaced / removed asap.

Good stuff. I’ve always backed into my garage. And, always good to have plenty of locks and great sight radius out of windows. My neighbors all have hedges and overgrown bushes obscuring most of their windows.

You can turn on the vacation lock, on your garage door opener, at night. It locks out the remotes. That's what I do.

I didn't even know these existed until a few weeks ago, they're cool!
