I this lesson you'll learn how to add chords to your melody playing to make it more interesting even when you play it solo guitar! A little bit like chord melody.
The method is demonstrated over a few songs-
Al foul by Edith Piaf in a Gypsy Jazz arrangement and over the song Autumn Leaves

Yaakov, I just wanted to say thanks for all these free videos you put up; they've completely helped me to learn jazz manouche. I always learn something totally useful - whether that's the ornamentation, la pompe (yours was the first video I watched on gypsy rhythm playing), technique, and phrasing/theory. Plus you're a very funny guy!

Thank you Yaakov! This is exactly what I am working on. Find the cords and how to embellish the melody, with a base line and arpegios.

Is there a system to find the chord of a melody, or a trick?

Hi Masria. The thing is to visualize a few simple chord shapes
on the fingerboard - even triads are great
and find the melody next those shapes.
I teach and demonstrate it in the Comprehensive course-
      registration is closing tonight
