Insightful interview 💎👏🏾
Props for this one!💯👊🏽✅
Did you ask him about Scorcher/Sadie?
Steven I love these interviews, so inspirational and great questions always.
I’m a 44 male married with two kids still with the dream of having my thing. These interviews are keeping the dream alive and educating the mind . I just want to say thank you 🙏
Why don’t you bring me on? - Lee Marvin at LADbible & Real Porridge Podcast & Room 104 & the book “ Strangeways Unlocked “
Akala would be great on this podcast too, he is extremely inspirational and knowledgeable
Agreed
Yesssssssss
So knowledgeable that he thinks pro greens song “jungle” is racist and maverick sabre sings with a Jamaican twang 😂
Akala the self proclaimed victim
Yes!
“The belief of the cards being stacked against you can be the deterrent of you even playing the game” - I feel this through and through
This is why I love your podcasts, you have a range of people from different backgrounds, especially with Wretch being from the same area I grew up in, I can definitely relate to him
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Wretch is one of my all time favourite artists, hearing about his life and ethos is special,
Thank you for the amazing episode
Thanks you for listening!
I love how each one of your guests have a link through to the next. They could be from different walks of life and in different industries, but are connected through a question and I think that is beautiful.
🙏🏽
Wretch is one of the best writers & lyricists we ever had in this country. Legend 💙
🙌🏽
Not a good brejrin to have around your childs mother though💯
Can't believe people within our community can even speak down on Steven's name!
What a guy Wretch 32 proud of both.
We needed this chat ♥
Love Wretch, Ghetts and Kano pioneering legends🎉🎉
Man like Wretch 32!!!! Absolute legend
I love that answer of a life well lived. *"...waking up every day and having multiple reasons to smile, and within that making multiple people smile.'* ~ Wretch 32
Sorta like what da Vinci said what I read in the book mastery “with a blessed days work brings blessed sleep”
Wretch is a certified goat in the game he paved the way for so many in the UK and is still as relevant today. Top discussion
Incredible podcast, dude is so wise and insightful, thank you!
If I can be so bold, I would love to see Akala come on and share his piece!
Akala 🥳🥳🥳
This is excellent. Perfect person from our culture to come on a podcast like this. I'd love to see Akala, Ghetts and others make an appearance in good time.
Here in DC USA been a fan of wretch since Inna di ghetto with Ghetts always saw he strived to bridge the gap from UK to US glad he’s a CEO now he’s one of the main reasons I follow Grime
Glad to know other Americans appreciate grime. I was a Kano fan, first. Didn’t pay attention to Wretch until the recent collab with Kano and Ghetts.
Stephen wasn’t messing around with this one 🤝 probably the 🐐 of uk rap thank you Stephen for all of this I appreciate all of them
Thanks Josh!
@@TheDiaryOfACEO I would absolutely love to see you do something with Anthony Joshua he’s mindset is elite💎 a lot like yours 🙌🏻
I love how Stephen really does his research
I come to these conversations expecting to be interested and learn about our differences but what I Adore is that regardless of what we expect what I actually find is connection, recognition, acceptance, peace and ease.
Such thoughtful, eloquent, kind, warm language used to express a journey of nourishment and balance.
GOLD 💙🙏🏻🤩
Thanks for sharing Jo 🙏🏽
What a pioneer for our generation. You can tell he’s had his calling 💯
Loved his answers to the questions at the end. Particularly liked when he spoke about life being like a record and ensuring you make a positive soundtrack throughout your life, not only being happy but bringing happiness. Summed the conversation up well.
I’m not a huge fan of this musical genre but I have extreme respect for this man. What a fruitful conversation. Thankyou Wretch. 🎶
It’s good to see a cross over of industries come together through a podcast
What an extremely positive, informative podcast. I've always appreciated Wretches individuality and indeed methology and its been great to see the fruition of his Journey your both true stars and an examples that I would recommend to my children as role models. Well done guys full marks.

This podcast is so needed I cannot stress it enough. It has given me a new lease of life. Wretch 32 was my childhood, he had so much to say of value and I think that’s one thing all of your guests have in common. Steven and his team are doing it right 🔥
Thank you so much Atinuke!
King Wretch yah nuh! Ah yh 🤴🏾🏆🔥🙏🏾🇯🇲
Been listening to some of the older podcasts as well of the new ones- I’ve definitely noticed that the more difficult the persons life is or has been & the more incredibly serious failures/challenges they’ve faced, the more interesting the story & the person is- just adds so much more depth to their story and makes it so much easier to engage!
Such a raw conversation, loved the interaction between you two!!
Thank you!
I love this episode. Such a raw conversation. I love Wretch's journey also. More power on your channel.
Absolutely love this interview with Wretch is one of my favorite musical artists of all time. He even speaks lyrically and in verse when he talks. Love it.
Absolutely loved this pod, I've been listening to Wretch since I was a teen, well over 10 years ago, he always stood out amongst the rest and actually stimulated my mind. He deserves all the success he has!
Thanks for watching Drew 🙏🏽
I’m here for this. Wretch is a 🐐
🙌🏽
“Expectations of the cards stacked against as us” I’ve lived with this. I’ve now managed to use it as a driving force rather than a hinderance.

59:30 word. if your identity is outsourced to external contingencies, you will feel out of place. so you have to know and trust in yourself to not take up caution when feeling displaced.
🙌🏽
I don’t know much about his music but this is one of my favourite interviews. Really interesting and insightful
Thank you Angela!
Same 😁🙏🏻
Love Wretch. Such a humble guy

That story where a Ford Fiesta rolled up on wretch when he was a kid is unfortunately very relatable. Early 2000 era on my way home, I used to have group of young adults ask me what school year was I in? Then I would answer and they would move on but it would as if though they were looking for someone to hurt. The ends can drag you into a hood life purely because of the environment
"Shopping for my Mother - went to buy a tin of corned
beef. Car lights flash - is this where me and the lord
meet? Tints rolled down; shook his head when he
saw me... I guess it wasn't _for_ me."
Wretch 32 - Antwi (2016)
Love wretch’s music! Been listening to him from I was a kid! He introduced me to grime music! 10 years later even though there’s 100’s of grime artists I still go back to him 💯Steven you continue to bring on the best people!
Thanks for listening Bethany!
Any chance of getting Ghetts on the pod? Wretch has such an amazing story and he’s able to express it with such eloquence - you’ll have the same experience with Ghetts…
I really enjoyed Wretch and Steven's chat. It was interesting and insightful and gave me a good feeling. The opposite of David Gandy's interview who made me feel like he sucked the joy out of my life.
great video -as usual
“Believe you can and you're halfway there.”
― Theodore Roosevelt
Always loved this mans music and also his vibe. Thank you Steven for having him on. What he had to offer in the conversation for me is pure gold to the young. I once took a group of girls who had become involved in the gangster lifestyle to his concert back in the day. It was the best concert any of us had been to. It made them see bigger than than the hood life. As an entertainer he is the real deal. True talent.
Great podcast. Wretch 32 is obviously a great personality, this sit-down just sent it galactic.
The GOAT still has the best fire in the booth of all time 💯
So many powerful moments! The news paper, the tapes being done when his son was born, him writing the lyrics from his dream down and so much more! Wretch is special man !🙏🏾
He's great! 🙌🏽
“You are Gold to” stood out for me. Regardless of perception it is so important to know your worth. Be fearless and believe the impossible is possible. Intriguing interview loved every minute of it. Thank you gents 🤝 #iNSPIRED
Thank you bro 🙏🏽
Same! I rewatched this morning specifically to find this bit again.... (Imposter Syndrome Chapter - 55m) czcams.com/video/PwNs626zKUI/video.html

Glad I finally got round to finishing this. Absolutely sensational conversation. I hope to find something that gives me such a burning desire that’s always been my thing. I highly praise the older lot and their grind in this music scene, it’s something else👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Enjoyed this episode, I didn't know to much about him yet this has opened a door and I'm intrigued to know about his music. Loved his answer to the last 2 questions and I fully am in his mindset of this. Nice work 🙂
By far one of my favourite podcast episodes. What a wise man. Truly.
Loved this! I remember I was 16 and I sold some Xbox games then went and bought the Black and White CD, then went home and spun it in the Xbox with the visualisers on the tv 😭
This is class ! Wretch never disappoints !
Great interview. Reminds me of my earlier music days, the Sale Or Return deals, hearing people you don't know playing your music for the first time etc. So many similarities.
This is awesome, one of my favourites that you have done, Listened to wretch for so long . He still has the best ever fire in the booth with Avelino🔥 Gotta say though, how cool is wretch. 😎😎

Great Pod cast, very insightful truth told. Very intresting and good adviser.
Clicked like without watching a second.. Knew this was going to be great x
This episode was so revitalising and so insightful.
So many nuggets for striving towards your dreams and a fresh perspective.
Till Wretch mention the debate between investing in the buggy or music production, I felt that bro. Do you spend the last cash on a full grocery list or do you stretch your cash and reinvest in the business? In the midst of it all you learn to humble and appreciate the simpler things in life.
The rollacoaster of being an entrepreneur 😮💨😂
That was such an amazing interview, what’s a guy! So much wisdom 🧠💡
Thank you for listening Simone!
I've always admired wretch 32 and this interview confirmed why. I loved punctuation. I remember hearing it and thinking wow, this guy is lyrical.
