- McDonald's restaurants outside of the US serve a bunch of unique dishes that you can't get Stateside. So when I was in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this month for MWC, I made it a mission to try McDonald's menu items that I would never be able to order at a regular American McDonald's.

Hope you enjoyed dude, I worked for three years on a popular mcdonalds here in Madrid and foreing ppl used to be positively surprised about 1: the beer, it does exist, its good enough and cheap too 2: the quality, in general, and specifically everyone loves wedges.
McDonalds menu in most countries are amazing. Here in Perú they added the huancaina sauce and maracuya beverages, they successfully mixed the menu with our regional dishes in a near perfect mixture.

This is not the point. What they are saying is that in some countries Beer is either an extra on top of your menu OR there isn't beer at all.
Still, if they sold beer at mcdonalds in the USA it would be considered an premium drink with a surchage attached, they would never just include beer as if it was coke. Why? Because they know customers would pay for it.
I think he meant the"Beer fee" as in someplaces charge a fee (2-4 dollars) to replace the drink in a combo.

McDonald's USA is MILES better than McDonald's India, in pretty much every single common dish you can think of (which aren't that many). I've had McDonald's in some other Asian countries as well, and in my opinion none of them comes even close to USA... But at least they all have the OG Big Macs, which we don't have here in India :(.

The McDonald's in the city I was staying at in spain refused to serve me beer in the middle of the night one time, because 1 it was late and 2 I was clearly very inebriated. Getting beer with your meal was my favorite things about the McDonald's in spain

I did! After 2 weeks.. I wanted something familiar.. its fun trying different menu items. And also, some restaurants where I was in Spain are not that great.. a lot of seafood that is not seasoned.. except paella, that's delicious

Special Agent Dale Cooper when I went to Madrid we did manage to find a local sports bar/pub that had great food. There were a lot of restaurants in my grandfathers city though, which is Gijon.

North that applies to kfc and 7-11 as well haha. There was just so much more interesting options in Asia yet it’s an American brand. In 7-11 they have sandwiches, hotdogs, pizza, and taquitos, but in Asian 7-11s they have rice, soups, and full meals that were healthy
